We are pleased to announce that after a brief hiatus Hibs.net buses are back! We will be running 2 x 53 seaters to the League Cup Semi Final v Aberdeen on Saturday 4th November. Please read the below carefully as daft questions will be ignored.....

Where and when are you picking up?

The game is on Saturday 4th Novemer, 5.15pm kick off. Pick up points and times are below:

Easter Road Clubstore - 11.30am
Waterloo Place - 11.35am
Glasgow Road (outside the old Fabios) - 11.50am
Deer Park - 12.10pm

How Do I Book?

Post on this thread. I need the number in your party and your pick up point. If your party is split between 2 stops then no problem, just make it clear. I'll also need someone from each group to PM me a mobile number to add to a WhatsApp group should there be any issues on the day.

How Much Does It Cost and How Do I Pay?

Adults will cost £16 and under 16s will cost £9. Preferred payment method is by paypal to [email protected]. If this is unsuitable to you then PM me and we can arrange either bank transfer or cash. Payment is required no later than Wednesday 1st November but preferably earlier. Please include a note of your username as a reference when paying.

Are you Booked in Anywhere Pre Match?

Yes. We will once again be booked into the Clydesdale Cricket Club. We have used this venue several times now and they look after us really well. They will have the usual pies, sausage rolls etc. available on the day and there is plenty space for 100+ of us. We aim to arrive there about 1pm and will be departing for Hampden at 4pm sharp.

Can I Drink On The Coach?

STRICTLY NO ALCOHOL IS PERMITTED ON THE COACH. I'm no killjoy and like a drink as much as anyone but the law is the law. We have paid a significant security deposit that is only returned if we return the coaches in good order and the driver reports that no alcohol was brought on board and consumed. If we are stopped by the Police and turned back because of drink on the coach you won't be popular, If we lose £500 then we'll be coming after you to stump up so please don't do it. We'll have a good 3 hours in the cricket club so there is plenty time to get your fill.

Is There A waiting List?

Depending on how quickly seats fill up we may run a small waiting list, we'll cross that bridge as and when we come to it.

No problem for kids in the club. There has been a couple of 15 aside games of football on the cricket outfield in the past featuring kids and big kids alike albeit that was in the summer :greengrin

Just a few final bits of housekeeping before Saturday:

Thanks to everyone who has paid over the last few days. Only a couple still to pay so if you could get that over this week or PM to make an alternative arrangement then that would be great.

Everything is all sorted with the cricket club. The question is always asked as to whether they accept cards and the answer is yes, the bar accepts both cash and cards:aok:

We'll have the football cards on the go as usual so if you want to participate please bring change because I don't accept cards:greengrin It's also always nice if we can give the driver a wee something for getting us there and back safely.

Thanks also to everyone who has sent over a mobile number or messaged to say I'll still have it from last time, I'll have the WhatsApp group set up later this week. If you haven't done so and want to be in the group 'just in case' then please PM me this week.

We have a coach park pass this time so will be in one of the car parks at Hampden. This should make things far easier for finding the bus post match and getting away quickly.

Please make sure your group know which bus they are on. There will be an admin on each bus with a list if there are any issues but it's a lot easier if people are aware. Both buses will be clearly marked as either Bus 1 or Bus 2.

Finally I know I have highlighted this in the first post but please don't bring any alcohol on the bus. The bus company have taken a deposit that won't be returned if this rule is breached. We have a very good relationship with them and don't want to jeopardise that, particularly as we will hopefully need to book again in December.

Just to say a big thank you to everyone who travelled with us yesterday.

It's a proper team effort to get the buses running but having a good group travelling makes it all so much easier. It was good to see all the regulars and also meet a few new faces as well. We really couldn't have asked for better with people respecting the no drinking rules and being on time.

I'm just sorry we won't get to do it all again in December. Still there is always the Scottish Cup semis in April........
