Started in Australia’s friendly with Mexico which ended 2-2.
Martin didn’t get a lot of the ball but came away with an assist..taking the corner which was headed in for Oz to go 1 up and then a goal……scoring a penalty in the second half to put them 2-0
Was substituted in the 75th minute uninjured, after playing on a synthetic pitch that looked like Kilmarnock on steroids.
Not so lucky was exHibee Jackson Irvine who rolled his ankle with 2 minutes to go and was stretchered off.
