View Full Version : Beale , Naismith , Robson or MacLean ! Who's next for the chop ?

I hope they all last in there Jobs though think all four are now under pressure .

Beale's has spent a lot of money on players who don't exactly look like anything special tbh . A few bad results in Europe plus two in the league , the latest against Celtic has surely turned the hordes against him . Next game against St Johnstone you'd imagine anything other than a win might spell the end for him .

Naismith appointed hertz manager ( again ) was said to be taking a back seat and letting McAvoy take charge for Europe because he had no BADGES which I don't believe as I think Naismith's an arrogant wee b***er who would still be wanting to call the shots there tbh . Apart from winning there first game of the season they have now failed to score in there last 3 league games and they've already done a thread on sacking him with over 60% wanting him out already . Next games Aberdeen in what could be another EL Sack -ico too ! .

Aberdeen are 11th and hertz next away. Dons fans certainly beginning to bleat about Robson now , would a defeat at Tiny after losing to us force the dons board to act ?.

Heavy defeat to Huns at home be the end of MacLean?.

Or will they all be given time to turn things around 🤔

Robson or Beale. Think Robson will be gone by Xmas.

Montgomery.

No but in all seriousness I reckon Beale, think a large quantity of the support have made up their mind

Think Cormack will blindly support Robson for a while.

Hearts will wait a while since Naismith is now officially head coach.

If Beale doesn't win the League Cup now there will be tons of pressure on him. Throw in Real Betis humping them 5-0 a couple of times and he'll be gone.

I'd probably agree about Beale being under the most pressure tbh though the hertz v Aberdeen will have one set of fans baying for blood if they lose I think . Interesting enough if hertz were to lose I think there next two games after that are away to St mirren and Ross county which isn't easy before we go to them ! .

Beale gone by the end of October

Naiwin gone by the end of the year

Bizarrely I think Robson will be given the whole season

Beale. Tough one, can they afford to pay him off? But wouldn’t be a shock.

Naismith. Let’s be honest, they’ll want him out if they lose to us in a few weeks.

Robson. They persisted with an obviously failing manager last season till fairly far in and still came third, so I suspect he’ll get at least the first round, if not till the end of the year.

Beale currently has a 79% win percentage, the highest for a permanent Rangers manager in their history.

That's worth 10 points to Hibs in a season. He's murder.

Robson, in his interview after the Hibs game he looked and sounded like an Aiberdeenshire fairmer without a clue about football.

If "they" just want to get rid of one of two slap ersed faced looking slavers then it's a straight shoot off between Naisy and Pete Beale

I always thought Beal would be first to go before xmasRobson was my favourite before the end of last season and still is. Hearts will double down on Naismith for a while but he didn't get third despite his statements. Beale would have been a surprise but not since this seasons start. McLean at Saints will be shoogly too.

Hope it isn't Beale. Love seeing those Govan w****** squealing. A new manager isn't going to get a tune out of that lot either.

Chat about them lining up Graham potter to replace Beale. Which out be a bit mental considering what he was on at Chelsea and what he'd expect in a budget pot

Wouldn't surprise me either if McInnes went back to the ****gers

Two of the names I read were being considered were some guy Muscat and Wayne Rooney.( paper talk) .

Has to be Beale which would be absolutely crazy to do. Had them on a good run last season and although he’s not started brilliantly this season he’s got a fair few new players and lost a few decent ones, and also Alfredo Morelos.

Sevco are in another meltdown phase, if Lennon hadn’t been given beyond his initial part season there’s every chance that they’d not have won their league title under Gerrard which has given them added delusions of grandeur. They’re some way off Celtic and have been for some time.

Beale will definitely be away. He's not good enough to manage a club of that size. He's yet to win a big game.

The dons will turn on Robson once the group stages kick off and they're being battered every Thursday/Sunday.

I hope ratsmith receives a lifetime contract with the puddle drinkers.

If Beale does go it will put paid to the the theory that he was the man anyway and Gerrard was only a figurehead. They have both struggled on their own, maybe they need to team up again to become a success.

They wouldn’t have won the league if Celtic hasn’t extended Lennon’s tenure, Celtic self imploded.

They’re just not very good compared to their only rivals, are Rangers.

The season Rangers won it under Gerrard they got 102 points.

Never lost a league game, won 32 and drew 6. A goal difference of plus 79. The following season the were a baw hair away from winning the Europa League.

That was a very good Rangers team, very short sighted to simply say Rangers wouldn't have won the league of Lennon wasn't in charge.

In fairness to Beale they have downsized in terms of quality. Being on the fair play watch list has screwed them.

Muscat played for Sevco at one time and might be an option. The notion of Rooney going to that mob is laughable.

I'd say Dodds at ICT is running out of time pretty quick, getting to a cup final the season before will only cover him so far IMO

If Celtic had their act together as they had done in the years before and after, they'd have beaten Rangers in the OF games and that points tally and unbeaten record would have looked different, imho.

Celtic have/had a massive advantage over Rangers and it was sheer bad management that allowed Rangers in to win that league.

You're right in saying Rangers were a very good team, Celtic *should* have been beyond them, though.

It can't be forgotten that The Rangers got ridiculous decisions from referees throughout the season.
Not one penalty or sending off.

All started when Lennon and Scott Brown were tanking pints in Dubai during Covid. Think they thought they were on easy street that season. Sure they'd just lost an OF game as well. Couldn't imaging Rodgers or Ange doing that.

I'm not sure TBH.

Celtic have had many good teams but none have done as well as to reach the Europa League final (aware that was the following season, but it was essentially the same side and the framework was put in place the year they won the league). That Rangers team were exceptionally well coached, and defensively brilliant.

They only conceded something like 13 goals the entire league season. About a single goal every 3 games.

Any team that is that good defensively is going to be very hard to beat over the course of a season.

Yeah him or Robinson. Next Dons and Hearts managers I reckon.
