Guy was very good tonight. His passing isn't always the best but positionally and his ability to win the ball is a massive plus for us .should start going forward

A lot of players who were looking awful under LJ putting in a good showing tonight. 3-0 flatters Villa.

Absolutely brilliant tonight.
Good player when used correctly and has the right players around him.

Yep . Would imagine this would free Newell up on league games to push on and be the attacking midfielder we require

Oh Dinnae say that.
They lack ‘experience of the Scottish Game’😂

Jeggo has his limitations, never going to dictate games but he can definitely free up Newell to stop doing the donkey work and kick us on

Play jeggo between the width of the goals +5m either side max and he will intercept for fun by the looks of it.

Loved how many times he seemed to nip in and steal the ball ..

If he plays as a basic DM he’s fine.

Played well when he came on in the first leg. Encouraging players to do what they do best may catch on.

He is an on park leader. Something every club needs at least 2 or 3 of.

Jeggo was okay and better than previous performances, if he was a bit less negative when on the ball he would be a lot better.

Today he played a good amount of forward passes , unfortunate our front line found themselves in offside positions. I do agree that he could be a bit more positive in his passing overall

He needs to be more positive moving forward. Second half was a good example, good interception, goes forward with 2 Villa players behind him, then he turns back just before the halfway line when he could have kept pushing forward or picked a forward pass.

Minus first goal he had a good game , I wouldn't mind rocky starting in a back 3 . Also think it would suit miller on the right

I actually text folk saying how very good JJ was playing this evening .

Look forward to more sterling preformances from JJ.. and others from now.

First goal was Marshall's fault.
Duran is lightening quick.

Yes , marshalls out of position to be fair but rocky has to be beating Duran to that ball , overall he has about a two meter start on him
Was a really good game for Jeggo and I thought his passing was much better in this game when everyone else's seemed to fall apart. It's never going to be great but I'd take that from him every week in terms of passing.

Dare I say it but about time he had a decent game? I don’t want to sound like a soor puss but I’ll reserve my judgement before I start to think he’s not part of the piss poor midfield we’ve got and had for what seems like forever

Little you can do if someone is that quick.
He had him down in a corner where he shouldn’t have been able to do anything with it but turn back

To be fair to jeggo he's not played from the start much this season. What he does well will definitely allow Newell to be more effective in my opinion

With current injuries if we are looking to play 3 in the middle I'd have
Jeggo
Self and newell

I genuinely hope so and if he can keep doing what he done tonight then we’ve got a player
I’m just not sure he’s got the consistency to play like that most weeks but would love to be proven wrong

Not sure you can really blame rocky for the 1st, wasn't a mistake by him that cost the goal, the guy was no where near the goal when he hit the shot, Marshall was to blame

Not saying you're not a good player 21sMay but I'd go with Levitt in there. I'll bring you on if we are chasing the game

Another good performance from Jeggo today. Worried a bit when he picked up a yellow (never a booking) but he coasted that today. More involved and better passing. Only the one straight out of play haha.
Pleased for him

I thought JJ was very good yesterday. Seems to be a lot more positive in his play and was moving the ball around well with nice crisp passing. Earlier in the season he seemed incapable of playing a five yard pass to a team mate’s feet. Looking good and long may it continue.
