The following important information should be reviewed by all supporters travelling to Birmingham for the second leg of our play-off match against Aston Villa.


SUPPORTERS MEETING POINT

Supporters are encouraged to gather at the Arcadian Centre in Birmingham City Centre which is located 4 minutes’ walk to New Street Station and is serviced by several hotels from budget to high end. For full details of bars and restaurants within The Arcadian Centre


COACH PARKING

Travel on the M6 to Junction 7. Follow Signs for Birmingham City Centre A34. Follow A34 to the first traffic roundabout in Perry Barr take first exit left onto the A4040, then straight ahead to the first Traffic Roundabout at Witton Square. Straight over the Traffic Roundabout onto Witton Lane and the coach park is 100 yards on the left.

Free Coach Parking is available at the stadium, but coaches need to be parked 90 minutes before kick-off because of the road closures that come into operation. To register your coach please email details to: [email protected]

If a Coach is dropping off supporters in the City Centre, and then picking up after the match, it should make their way directly to the designated Coach Parking location for the 90-minute cut-off. If you arrive after this time, you will be parked initially opposite the church on Witton Lane. All your passengers should alight, but drivers should remain with vehicles. Following kick-off, road closures will be lifted, and coaches will be parked up on the away coach park opposite the away turnstiles.

All passengers should be directed to the away coach park for pick up after the final whistle. Aston Villa reserves the right to charge any coaches arriving late a £50 charge to park on the coach park. The Aston Area is a red zone and covered by resident parking restrictions coaches will not be allowed to park in the Aston and Witton Areas roughly a 3-mile radius from the ground.

Coaches arriving early and parking before the road closures will not be subject to a charge.


CAR PARKING

Residents’ Parking Zones are in operation on matchdays. It is strongly advised all supporters to use official car parks and avoid parking in residential areas. Parking fines of £60 will apply for anyone parked within a residents’ zone.


TRAINS FROM CITY CENTRE

From Birmingham’s New Street Station, there are two regular routes to the stadium. The first to Aston Station – Walsall to Birmingham New Street, (0.3 miles) 7 minutes walk and the second Witton Station – Lichfield to Longbridge / Redditch line (0.7 miles), 10 minutes walk to the stadium. TICKETING

Any Hibernian supporter tickets that have not already been uplifted by 4pm on Wednesday from the Hibernian Ticket Office will be taken to the Arcadian Centre, Birmingham City Centre for distribution on Matchday from approximately 2pm.

Confirmation of your booking together with a photographic ID will be required for uplift. The Stadium will open for Spectators at 6:30pm with the match kicking off at 8pm.

The Hibernian allocation for the Stadium is sold out. If you are not in possession of a valid ticket for the Hibernian Section, please do not travel.

Any Hibernian FC supporter found within the home sections of the stadium will be ejected.


FLAGS POLICY AT VILLA PARK

At Villa Park Flags must be prior approved before entry. Requests to bring flags into the stadium together with an image of the flag should be sent to: [email protected] for approval. Failure to do this will result in the flag being refused admission.


BAGS

100% of bags will be searched on entry and they will be tagged by stewards. Only bags A4 in size or smaller are permitted. No suitcases, rucksacks or large holdalls will be permitted, so please leave these on your coach, in your car or at your hotel.


PROHIBITED ITEMS

The following articles must not be brought within the ground - knives, illegal substances, fireworks, smoke canisters, air horns, flares, weapons, dangerous or hazardous items, laser devices, bottles, glass vessels, cans, poles and any article that might be used as a weapon and/or compromise public safety. Any person in possession of such items will be refused entry to the Stadium.


PERSONAL SEARCHES

You can expect physical searches before entry and in addition, hand wands will be used to detect metal objects. Pyro and drug detection dogs will be used throughout the stadium.



The Club has several travel stewards who are here to assist you. They will be in operation around The Arcadian Centre, at the turnstiles and inside the stadium.
