They were picking up their tickets from Biddy Mulligans from 10am. I gather they haven't ventured far after that.

Can't help but feel there is the potential for bother with Villa, Hibs and PAOK fans all in the city tonight.

I really don't envisage any bother between Hibs and Villa fans. Seems to be a lot of mutual respect there.

Thats exactly what Hibs should have done down in Birmingham. Would stop folk buying tickets who aren't going and then passing them on.

My guess at translation, a number of Stone Island Clad Birmingham hooligan dudes, loitering outside the Alexander Graham Bell?

Didn’t see a single one when I went through the middle of town earlier. Got the feeling that all the ones here will be the 1k or so who have tickets and that there is no invasion of Edinburgh by ticketless Villa fans like the way we will take over Birmingham! Maybe not surprising given Festival accommodation prices and availability!

It's also a far bigger game for us than it is for them.

There were 4 of them in Holyrood Park earlier, if that’s any use.

Never seen so many cops down Easter Road. I suppose they’re playing it safe?

I have to admit, the Meatball banner is pretty cool.

Wife was telling me villa fans were getting pelted with glasses outside the Iona.

Numpties, all over a game of football, pretty sure that area has pretty good CCTV, no wonder more and more pubs around the area can't be bothered with the hassle.

Excellent behaviour! Struggling to understand the point of folk doing that.

Hope they enjoy their night. God knows it must be a nice treat for them to be in beautiful Edinburgh compared to the dump they come from.

(petulant? Absolutely, we’ve just been beat 5-0, I’m allowed)

Made less noise than St Mirren, and at least the Buddies didn't treat us to anything from the Loyalist songbook.

It's the equivalent of us playing a small Scottish League 1 team, we'd hardly be rocking the place up if we pumped them.
