Suppose we might as well start this thread, folks who are going to Birmingham, what Pubs are going to be taken over for the day?

For those going who didn't get a ticket, what Pubs are going to be taken over for the evening for watching the game on the Telly?

Would like to know if any of them will let kids in to watch the game as I’m still inclined to make the trip with my 16&12yo as an outing.

Gutted didn’t get tickets but would like to be somewhere to enjoy the atmosphere

Snap.

Looking at it it's a 10-15 minute walk to New Street station and then a short hop on the train to Witton Station for the game (for those with tickets).

I imagine the pubs will be rammed before and even during the game with the amount of folk going down. Hibs invasion.

Aye I also think there’s a tram stop right outside O’Neills that goes to new street

Beware, trains to and from Aston and Witton stations are a notoriously ***** service. I don't use it myself but it's a big issue.

There was talk about certain pubs near the ground that were away friendly, does anyone have any info on which ones?

We'll be driving down on the Thursday and back up after the game so would ideally be parking near(ish) to Villa Park.

Food is good as well, service was ropey but looks to have been sorted on Sunday's evidence.

I’ll be similar to Blackpool where the club will be provided with “away” pubs so they’ll likely be closer to the ground. Seems to be the done thing down south

Ideal, surely don't want everyone to have to travel from the city to the ground all at once.

No ticket, but I'll be going down, more than anything to soak up the atmosphere.
