Not sure where they get the 1.05m. Pretty sure it's 750k for play-off round elimination.

The article talks about prize money in Euros not pounds

So do UEFA

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UEFA_Europa_Conference_League#Prize_money..... and all other websites quoting them.

I think they have added up the prize money for elimination in each of the 3 earlier rounds.

The money for hibs if can get through is massive.

Yeah, the guy running that twitter account is wrong. We get a total of €750k if we are eliminated.

There is a separate TV money pot that is distributed separately to the prize money, but I’m pretty sure you have to make it to the group stage to get a share of that.

I think you also get a €100K participation fee per round you actually play in. Although that's from memory and I'm b*****ed if I can find the source just now!

Also the €750K is last year's figure. So hopefully it will be a bit more this season.

This bit seems to be the difference:-

For every qualifying round a side plays in but ultimately falls short of the group stage, the club earns €100k. As Hibs played in three qualifying rounds, they received €300k.

I can't see anything UEFA-related that confirms that. If it is correct, that means that Hibs would earn more than Hearts if they both go out in this round. That doesn't seem right.

The 3% of gross revenue earmarked for clubs participating in the qualifying rounds will be distributed according to new criteria for this cycle: instead of cumulative amounts per round played, clubs will receive €100,000 per round and a fixed amount upon elimination (the later the elimination stage, the higher the amount).

The amounts for the clubs eliminated in the UECL qualifying rounds or play-offs are as follows:
UECL Q1: €150,000
UECL Q2: €350,000
UECL Q3: €550,000
UECL play-offs: €750,000

In case of any additional revenues in excess of the projected €3.5bn, the surplus of the qualifying round share will be distributed in proportion to each individual club’s income in the qualifying phase.

It's correct. £100k per round we compete in. £750k drop out bonus at playoffs. It makes sense given we've paid travel & expenses for 1 round more than Hearts. I'd imagine the profit if we both go out at this stage won't be too different.

So, 3x€100,000 + €750,000 = €1,050,000 like the article says, right?
