The Admin team at hibs.net are delighted to announce that this year we are sponsoring five members of the Women's team for the coming season, something made possible by each and every one of you who post on here but as always special mention has to go to our incredibly loyal Private Members who continue to back as financially in difficult financial times.
The first of our five really needs no introduction, Centre Half Siobhan Hunter made her first team debut in 2012. A born and bred Hibee we are delighted to be carrying on her sponsorship from last season.
Tireless midfielder Michaela McAlonie signed from Spartans in 2021. Her willingness to get stuck in all over the pitch is going to be a real asset this season.
Defender Lauren Doran-Barr joined us in the Summer from Motherwell where she had an impressive few seasons at Right Back. Pacey and committed we can expect to see her featuring strongly this season.
Winger Kirsty Morrison joined the first team in 2019 after coming through the Girls Academy. Kirsty not only provides assists, she is more than capable of scoring a few herself.
Last but not least is Wing Back Mya Christie who joins us after making 28 appearances for Aberdeen. Only 18 years old, Mya has already impressed, watching her develop further is going to be one of the highlights of the season.
