As an Eagle in exile I have to agree. Excellent career at palace and loved by all. His age finally caught up with him and injuries were taking there toll and taking longer to clear up. Seems like he has been at Palace forever and he will be sorely missed. Top man.

I presume it's meant to be McCarthy as it was reported this morning he is set to leave Celtic. I wondered if he could be worth a punt myself as still only 32. No idea what his fitness is like though. Not played much for a couple of years by the looks of it.
