It's a bizarre one - esp given we are currently short of cover in wide areas yet he's disappeared without trace - what a waste of money. Quicker we get rid of the likes.of him and Henderson the better

Seen him walking through the crowd past the Hibs shop on the way to the West Stand on Thursday with, I presume, his other half. I gave my daughter a wee nudge to point out a Hibs player but she’s never heard of him🙈 He wasn’t being acknowledged by anyone, not that he’d be looking for any gratification I’m sure but I felt a bit sorry for him. Pretty sure most players would be getting stopped for photos/selfies etc. He’s obviously nowhere near the match day squad, let alone the first XI. I would imagine Hibs have been trying to move him on but there’s no takers🤷🏼

That’s an unusual comment for you to make.

Given he turned down a decent loan in January if anything I’d be more inclined to believe he’s happy enough just picking up a wage without actually playing.

Really wanted it to work for Jair. It’s a real cultural shift for some. Maybe too much

Maybe that affected his game too we didn’t really see enough of what he could bring to get a sense there was more to come or he could up his levels.

Aye surely, his contract runs to 2026. Absolutely ridiculous giving him that length of contract. Has to be up there with one of the worst or recent times.

Malaga wanted him on loan and he knocked it back so not sure he will be pushing for anything.

*Yes I do know Malaga isn't in Portugal.

Think he’s in the development squad but they rarely play games so we won’t have heard much of him. The 18s have been playing but he’s too old for that and I don’t know when the reserve league starts.

Seen him getting in his car after the game on Thursday with either a friend or his partner. Gave him a wave and got a thumbs up, looks like he can't get a parking space outside the ground.
