Think we have a decent chance to go through and will get joy on the counter over there. But they will be stronger and we’ll have to show organization class and composure at the back to go through.
We have an even chance thanks to that third goal.

Still a tough game over there but I also fancy us to score over there

If we throw bodies in the way like we did tonight, then i'm confident we will get through. We played like the away team and won tonight. No reason why we can't do it again.

Wonder how many we will get, just over 2k if 5%. Surely thousands will go down though

I think you're favourites now for sure. You realised how key Jashari is to us and once you tight marked him, you nullified our threat. I'd say 70% chance you go through.

Not finished yet mate. Although we have a good chance, your lot are a good team and we will need to show the same attitude next week.

Think that’s about fair. With a two goal lead we’re definitely favourites imo.

Another week of game time for Boyle and Miller to get back to fitness
Think we'll go for it and hope for a goal

Can see it being a very long night in Luzern, they are a decent team and certainly capable of turning it around. A lot may depend on how Johnson sets us up.

More like 80-20 to me. They were no better than us and we have a two goal lead. It will be a very poor result if we go out and if we play at a reasonable level we will get through imo. Plenty goal threats for us too so every chance we will score one.

We have to be favourites, with a 3-1 lead, but the complexion of the tie could change very quickly over there. Let's not concede an early goal.

Yes I agree. Even when Hibs had 10 behind the ball Luzern's inter play was clever and quite tidy in and around our box, they made more than one decent chance and only chucking bodies in the way and a couple of times a poor touch prevented a goal. Its going to be tough over there and IMO we will need to score at least one goal to get through the tie.

We need to come out of the traps rather than sitting in, despite our 2 goal advantage. If we start the game slowly, we'll be punished for it. We have the ability to hurt this team, but they also have the ability to hurt us if we sit in too deep. They'll be committing players forward, so there should be plenty of opportunities to exploit their defence if we pile on enough pressure.

I think it’ll be an open game over there and Luzern move the ball around very well. Some of their interpassing was fantastic.
Hibs will create chances though, especially on the break. One Hibs goal leaves them needing three (or four to win it outright). They’re certainly capable of that but we have a great chance.

Up to 3,100 apparently. Will be a scramble for 2.5k tickets once Hibs first members get theirs. Similar amount as the games at Tynie.

That last goal is massive. I’d have us as favourites rather than it being 50/50 but if they score quickly we’ll be under huge pressure.
Still worry about us defensively but I fancy us to score in any game and if we can do that I’d be really disappointed. It to go through.

They need to beat us by 3 to qualify. I think we can definitely score over there. Go into half time with at least a draw and I'm confident it's pretty much over.

Yes, we are favourites. The trouble is we also know that losing 0-2 away isn't beyond us and then who knows? They will know what they have to do. We have a foot in the next round but need to be on it on the night.
Right attitude. Right approach. Get the job done.

Really? That’s not how I saw it at all. They looked dangerous virtually every time they came forward, running at our defence at pace and playing some lovely passes. They looked like scoring several times and hit the bar with a raker of a shot. The last thing we can afford to do is think it’s job done because we’ve got a 2 goal lead, next week will be a tough test for sure. Also, if we keep defending set pieces like last night they won’t have to be Barcelona to score against us.

Yep, think they look a decent team and we were very good to beat them.
They appear to have a bit of everything about them and very well balanced - Good on the ball, creative, pacey and a big physical striker. They got in some really good positions and had some cut backs/shots that realllt should have resulted in goals - as did we
We were very brave in our defending tonight and done a lot of last ditch tackles, but I think we were still a bit all over the shop. They could quite easily put a couple past us.
We could also put another couple past them, especially from set pieces as Fish seemed to win nearly every ball at attacking corners/feee kicks.
Hopefully we Nick an early goal and there fans turn on them and they lose faith.
Even though he never looked too special tonight, having guys like Meyer you know they can produce something out of nothing.

They moved it well, created chances and a combination of bodies on the line and woodwork stopped them scoring.
We played as well as I've seen in a long time.
We'll do really well to get a result to go through out there. We're capable but we all know we're capable of also being 2-0 down inside 15 minutes.
The first goal is huge and the timing. 0-0 at HT and we'll have a huge chance.

We also need to factor in the referee unfortunately, I know it sounds stupod thing to say but last night we had a very good ref who was always in control. Any other ref couldve potentially had a couple red cards out... We just need to be mindful of this also but the 1st strong challenge will show what kinda ref he is gonna be just hope he doesn't decide the game..

Seen plenty ot technically gifted sides like Luzern come a cropper due to their inability to convert ball dominance into goals. If we show same commitment, think we can nick a goal across there to go through.

I'd actually play a weakened team on Sunday mate, rest whoever necessary - we have plenty time in league but it'd now a massive opportunity fir club to get thru for a glamour tie that we will make a fortune off

You seem to contradict yourself with “coming out if the traps” and then hitting them when they have committed players forward.
The onus is very squarely on them to score so we don’t need to fly out at them, if we do, they will just pass the ball around us, something they did quite well.
I would be more than happy to play our normal game and try and get an opportunity that way, we don’t need to be over committing players in order to get a goal

My point was that we don't want to be sitting in too deep. If we're going to hit them on the break then we need an out in order to do so. Otherwise they're just going to pile the pressure on endlessly until we crack. Our best defence is our offence. The more pressure we can take off our own defenders the better.
