Zürich airport on Thursday night…

Any other Hibees heading straight to Zurich airport after the game on Thursday for the 05:30 flight? Looking at train timetables, the late KO means I am probably looking at a taxi from Luzern… at £200 would happily stay for another pint if I had someone to split with!

Mate, I’d be ditching that flight and bunk in with someone in either Lucerne, Basel or Zürich then I’d be taking the train to Geneva and get a flight out of Geneva at 16:55 to Birmingham, 3 hour wait then a flight to Edinburgh. Arriving back in Edinburgh at 22:25. Flights £129, if you’ve got the money I’d do that, at least you can get a peeve and get up the next morning and easily make Geneva airport on the train.

if you’re going to spend £200 on a taxi, that would cover your flights and train. Worth it for a better night out.

The last train to Zurich from Luzern looks to be at half 11, the game should be finished for half 10. Also an option of leaving at 5 to 12 with a change to Zurich so you should be alright on the train

Is there a chance of any specials running in the event of ET and pens? Is that something Swiss rail would do? I know first hand how difficult it is to get rolling stock and train crew at such notice though.

I have two mates (possibly me also) that are looking to do the same. They are on the 6.30 out of Zurich. Would be happy to share in order to keep the costs down.
