I thought she had the head coach role on a permanent basis but appears not to be
Hannah Dingley is expected to revert to her role as academy manager at Forest Green Rovers, after the club appointed the Southampton B team manager, Dave Horseman, as their new head coach.
Dingley made history this month by becoming the first woman to lead an elite English men’s team after taking interim charge of the League Two side but it is thought she was not one of the 100-plus candidates to apply to take on the role on a permanent basis.

She was only ever interim manager. She didn't even apply for the vacant job.

She was the only fully uefa licensed coach at the club, didn't apply for the job and has returned to the job she had before.
How is that a publicity stunt?

You need to read up on the character of Dale Vince. He knew what he was doing. Appointing the first female coach although he knew it was only going to be for a few weeks but he milked the headlines. Ask an FGR fan their opinion of it.
