I think clubs still get a certain number of games to show on PPV. Nothing announced by Hibs yet. If they do offer it on PPV they likely won’t announce it until end of the week so it doesn’t impact ticket sales.

Just been in to have a look and right enough, it seems you can't buy tickets in the FF, upper or lower. No chance it's sold out and even when a stand is you can still click on to it, but you cant even do that.

Weird man

Good question. There will be a news article about this shortly - Hibernian Community Foundation have been given 1,000 free tickets from the Club and the Gordon Family to distribute to deserving groups, projects and partners. The majority of these are based within the Famous Five stand.

That’s a nice gesture. But it’s also a massive pain in the backside that I tried to buy an additional child ticket yesterday in the seat next to mine, couldn’t do it online and have been unable to contact the ticket office today. I’m now in the situation where I’ll need to move my two existing seats - but that also involves speaking to the ticket office. Coupled with the way that tickets for the ECL game were handled, it’s not been a great start to the season for the ticket office.

Email the ticket office and ask if you can move your 3 tickets and add 1 on in another area of the stadium for this game

Great initiative and hopefully helps add to the atmosphere on Sunday. Not wanting to be negative (he says!), but with a last minute push for season tickets sales in all parts of the ground hopefully those families who might’ve been attracted to the deals on offer in the south aren’t put off by no availability in there for this game. Might be worthwhile mentioning that in any comms and that they can be placed elsewhere in the stadium for that game👍

I had emailed the ticket office this morning, and Mel has just got back to me just now. She was able to get me 3 seats together in a different section of the FFL.

I realise my previous post was a bit ranty towards the TO - I have to mention I’ve nothing against the staff in there, they’ve always been great when I’ve had to contact them, and were again today. I’m more frustrated with the processes in place - I get why they don’t sell a child ticket on its own, but it would be good if the system was able to recognise when it’s a child seat being added to an existing group. I suspect that may be a Ticketmaster issue rather than Hibs - and Ticketmaster certainly are worthy of a rant, but I’ll leave that for another day :greengrin

He had us opening day at St Johnstone last year and was brutal.

Seems to feel the need to talk for extended periods when engaging with players. He needs to try and make the calls and blend into the background a bit more rather than try and take a more prominent role. PE teacher to trade, can only imagine what he is like trying to deliver a teaching point in the gym.

I really don’t see this happening. Good on him last night for stepping up when we needed him to to but he was signed as a 3rd choice keeper to allow Murray Johnson to go out on loan which suggests he’s not ready for to be out no1.

We would really be chucking him in at the deep end if we start him on Sunday and I’m pretty sure LJ will be working overtime on plan B right now.

Some more lineup decisions for LJ to make for Sunday, the goalkeeping one probably the biggest.

I wonder if Delferierre will keep his place at the back, or if Miller will be put back in for his physical presence?

You suspect Newell and Campbell will keep their places in midfield, with the 3rd spot more up for grabs - whether he keeps JDH in, starts Levitt or even Jeggo.

You'd imagine that Boyle & Youan will start again - although I am wary of how much we're throwing at Boyle, but having him on the pitch is such a boost.

If he's available and fit, you also imagine Vente will start, but Doidge's performance last night will help his chances too.

Any news on how many fans St Mirren are bringing? Regardless, it sounds like it should be a good crowd!

They brought a decent sized and noisy support the last time, with this being their first game of the season expecting something similar, could easily be looking at a crowd of over 18,000 for this. Such a shame you wont have the FF lower and south lower bouncing off each other, could have made for a cracking atmosphere.

400 seems unlikely, you would expect them to bring at least between 700 and 1000 for the first game of the season, maybe even more. Also find it hard to believe Hibs would restrict them to 400 tickets given the south stand holds 4000 is a skoosh to segregate and up to today we haven't sold a single Hibs fan a seat in that stand.

It is crazy but that’s correct a few days ago when my mate got a st Mirren ticket they had sold 850 and he said there was a steady stream of fans heading to stadium
So they must of Sold over a thousand by now you would think

That seems a better number Ronnie, and more realistic

We should be selling the South to tourists

Will we be selling tickets in the South for any walk ups?

Unfortunately there will be loads of empty seats in the FF as per usual.

And the east.

And the west.

Probably, and probably due to holidays etc. but the FF really has a problem with this more than other stands. Maybe seeing as Hibs have given away 1000 free tickets in the FF for this game will lessen the impact. 🤞

There will be, but this affects every team not just us. The bottom line is that every seat in the home end will be sold which is fantastic for us. Our supporters back our team both on and off the park which should never be denigrated

I’ve absolutely no idea, just what I was told when I asked back at the beginning of this thread.

I'm absolutely delighted to have two free tickets through my daughter who plays for Hibs girls,as I wouldn't have been able to afford to go after paying for Thursday's game

Hibs community sent me an email saying they had got 1000 tickets and offered to my son who attended the training camps at Easter and last week. No idea where they are seating them though, I believe anyone who took them up on the offer is to collect them tomorrow at TO

Some good things happening off the field at the moment at Hibs and looking promising on the field with gradual improvement in the team.

Dare I say it, should we be getting quietly optimistic or is there a giant boot in the baws coming our way?.:greengrin

Massive queue this morning for collections. Apparently the Ticket Office weren’t made aware of this till very late in the day.
