Might have been more appropriate if it had died overstretching itself to close the gap on first then been reincarnated as "The penalty to Rangers" etc etc...

Poor old penalty to Rangers, just about to win the race in Hallidayesque fashion when up popped Sir David, the Grey to pip it at the post.
