Just listened to the latest "Life Goals" podcast with Pat. Very good listen and his love for Hibs is obvious.

His affection for Hibs is quite endearing. Lot of respect for someone who grew up a Celtic fan and turned their back on them due to the sectarian nonsense. He chose well.

Read his book and he said he had a Hibs strip when he was wee. Got his mother to make a number 4 as he loved Pat Stanton.

I really enjoyed that. Engaging footballing anecdotes and some splendid music to boot.

While his affection for Hibs later in his life is pretty well known, I didn’t quite appreciate how deeply and passionately that ran.
Was certainly in evidence during the Hibs content of his choices.

Two hour long episodes but they flew by. Well worth your time .

I was lucky enough to stand next to Pat during one of our usual Berwick pre season friendies, 10 or so years ago, the amount of love he has for Hibernian is unreal and his general football knowledge !

A long, long time ago when I say in the old east, Mr. Nevin sat behind me and I have no doubt of his feelings towards our club, and he referred to our club.as our club.
