Sad news indeed, one from my youth

His first ever game in the European Cup was in the final where he scored the winner - not too shabby

And a for Tunes - Dottingham

Ah, that's a sad one. Loved that Forest team as a laddie, and it blew my mind that you could have a million pound player!

Genuinely sad to hear this.

that this news comes on the same day that £259 million gets offered for another player is sad and ironic.

RIP Trevor. Got relatives in Birmingham who adored him.

I recall a game against Rangers at Easter which was the traditional 100 mile an hour fiery encounter with ball being blootered around everywhere, but When Francis had the ball though he seemed to find plenty of time for himself.

It was a real novelty to see those big names from down south that you only saw on Match of Day come up to play in Scotland. Shame it was for Rangers mind you!

A real classy player and very sad news of his sudden passing.

Remember being disappointed when he signed for Oldco Huns towards end of career, always seemed too nice for them.

He's here!

Brian Clough bizarrely carrying a squash racquet into the Francis press conference.
