View Full Version : Before it’s too late on here…
This post refers to people of all persuasions and political points of view. I am not singling out any one side or any one poster.
for the sake for civility and decency, can we keep these threads/conversations going without sniping at people please? And I’m holding myself culpable too, we’ve all felt the urge to react.
there is a lot of great conversation to be had and read and joining in here, but speaking personally I don’t post often here, as I expect others to just jump on, and I think ‘what’s the point?’, and I doubt I am the only one. That said, I find a lot of value in reading other people’s input and perspectives, even if I don’t agree with them.
so, in the spirit of us all finding common ground in our love for Hibs, and before the poor admins get any more hacked off and shut the Holy Ground down for good, can we all please exercise a little more tolerance, and play the ball rather than the man?

Very good post.
I think it's worth considering the effect that could be had from the depression/anxiety/mental health thread being lost in itself if this part of the forum was to be shut. It's one of the few threads that there is civil chat, and shows that we all have more in common than we think.

That’s a good point. I’ve thought before if it’s really seen necessary to shut things down again, maybe an idea for that thread to be moved to the dugout or somewhere. Easily the best and most valuable thread on the off-topic area of .net

This is a good post, I have often wanted to start a new thread but am put off by the crushing negativity of some posters. Some, not all.

Very good post and I don't think anybody could disagree with the sentiment.

As an alternative, might the HG be made PM-only, as it was a wee while back? The toxicity seemed to recede then.
That would also preserve the other non-toxic threads.
