I don’t mind there being ads, it makes sense, but when one’s completely cover the text box so you can’t actually see what you’re typing… it’s a bit much.

As far as Im aware the adverts pay for the running of the site and more, nippy yes but its still readable and I can still post, most of the time 😃

I'm more bothered by the bloody Cloudfare issue or whatever it's called. I can't access .net on my desktop computer. Fixed itself before but not now.

Sign up for the private membership. Tenner for the year, incredible value really, and you get the site with no ads.

We have had adverts for a number of years now, it enables us to provide a site for those hibs fans who choose not to pay for private memberships and to donate money to the club we all support and several charities.
Apologies if it has affected your experience here but on the plus side you have had thirteen years of free access to hibs.net

I think more would pay the $10 if there were simpler ways of paying it.

I won’t use Pay Pal but did sign up one year when I was over on holiday and gave the 10quid to someone to pay for me.

No doubt there is a reason it can’t be paid by credit card etc.
