They managed to qualify for this stage despite losing both games.

Unfortunately they pretty much need to beat Zimbabwe next game to have a chance of qualifying for the world cup and they've looked pretty unbeatable so far. Netherlands should be winnable.

Did anyone see the WI vs Netherlands game last week? WI scored 374-6 setting the Netherlands 375 to win and they nearly did it, needing 1 run off the last ball they lost a wicket and the match was tied. They then scored 3 fours and 3 sixes in the super over to score 30 runs. WI could only manage 8-2 chasing a ridiculous 31 to win.

Terrific result and performance. As others have said the once mighty West Indies look to be dying a sad, slow death when it comes to cricket but that shouldn't detract from the way Scotland played.

Great win, scrapped to a defendable total with Leask and Watt making big contributions with the bat again. Then backed that up with an excellent bowling and fielding display (dropped catch aside), I think Scotland knew they had to bowl them out and weren't overly bothered with the run rate being better than required as they had confidence they could take the wickets.

I don't think that the match against the Netherlands is a must win as we have a better net run rate, but I've no clue how to work out what they might need if they were to lose.

On the basis of the Windies and today's performance I'd have us as favourites. Maybe tougher than we might like tho.

Brilliant win today. Got bogged down a bit in the middle of our innings, but picked up the pace again. Bowling and fielding has been pretty much outstanding throughout the tournament.

It is a good total especially considering they have to get that in 44 overs, but the Netherlands have scored really well so far, their batting is strong.
