UEFA rules are clear. If a teams deliberately impedes a match taking place them they forfeit and are subject to disciplinary action. They should have been told at 9.15 to get their erses out or get changed and take the loss.

Your right Clarke deserves credit for sticking with him, for me there was always something about the boy that I admired, carried himself well, got into great positions and then he was pushed further forward, it has all come together.

He is brilliant. I was cautious optimistic when he took the job and he couldn’t have done much better. The best thing is that he seems happy in the role and not likely to be taking any other jobs any time soon. Lucky to have him.

Agree with that. A difficult situation dealt with well. Was smart to have regular checks rather than naming a definite time for a decision. Also appeared to deal well with Georgia when they went in the huff. Assume they were told they would forfeit the game if didn't play. In the end pitch was certainly playable at restart.

Interesting fact on Wille Ormond, in 1977,he selected Celtic's Paul Wilson who would be the first non white player to represent Scotland in the 20th Century.
England had selected Leeds player Paul Reaney a few years earlier.
The term i use were the terms of the time "Non White and/or Mixed Race"
