‘We get on great w/Hearts & Andrew who did great in 21/22 while we were in transition. 10 out of 11 seasons ahead of Hearts now. Famous Aberdeen the only Scottish club to win two UEFA trophies. Hearts win the season ticket league though 👏👏 ‘

The Merricks are pure ragin’ so they are. Great fishing trip from the Mutton Molester 🤣

Pretty poor tweet from a club chairman regardless of who it’s aimed at.

It is. But also quite funny

I didn’t realise it was in response to that weapon’s cocky interview from December

Utter weirdo. Finishing 3rd with a negative goal difference, and 60 conceded. Real shame we were so poor as that spot and everything that comes with it were utterly there for the taking.

Nonsense, it was brilliant.

The poor bit was the arrogant **** at Hearts in the first place.

Good on Cormack for showing a bit personality, I think it’s class.

To be fair, he qualifies it in his next tweet where he basically says he’s bantering his pal at Hearts. All a bit of fun that has the Merricks foaming at the mouth so all good with me.

I'm all for it, when you watch the aggressively boring Hearts chairman's interview, it's a perfect response to it.

Cormack comes across as a bit of a clown here, regardless of the recipient of his jibe.

Aberdeen fans are as bad as Hearts for self aggrandising. Those in high office such as Cormack should reign such playground talk in a bit.

Just two pub bores.

:agree:

Has the evidence to back up what he’s saying and sticks up for his team whilst doing it. Fair play to him.

Had Cormack tweeted that in isolation then I'd think he's a plonker, but as a response to someone it's fine.

I hope to see something similar when we next finish above Hearts/get one over them significantly. Leeann Dempster running rings around the homophobic Hearts fans giving her abuse after one of our derby victories under her tenure is a great memory.

Jesus Dave Cormack is one massive weirdo. Has to be the biggest creep in Scottish football.

Cormack is the typical arrogant entitled Dons fan who still lives off the glory days of the 80s. An absolute backside of a man.

Is this the same guy that was blubbing like a big bairn when we scudded them 6-0 at Easter Road ?

Fair play he did well to turn it around

We blew it big time as others have said third place and all that it brings

A dick measuring contest between two golf club bores.

had to laugh at McKinlay’s interview in December though. “It would become boring if you knew you were going to be third every season”. This after finishing third for the first time in 6 years, and it’s now once in the last seven.

Said before about hearts and I’ll say it again. There can be few clubs in world football with such a high opinion of themselves based on so very little.

three trophies in 60 years.

Hearts and Aberdeen are like the 2 boring *******s you end up lumbered next to in a bar on holiday.

Who has the newest car, who has the bigger salary, who pays more for their golf club membership, who has been abroad most times in the last year, who has the more secure pension pot, who paid the most in school fees, who now has the most successful kids as a result...... All passive aggressive boasting.

Cormack and McKinlay both come across as a pair of arrogant roasters. Well suited to their respective clubs.

Aye tears on the TV...the guy named Aberdeens training ground after himself tells you all you need to know...a totam creep

As a response he just about gets away with it. That interview tho from McKinley just sums up the typical entitled arrogant Jambo prick.

Great summary. They should just get married now, as they will never find anyone more suitable.

It was in response to Andrew McKinlay of Hearts banging on about being the 3rd force etc and 'welcoming the challenge of Aberdeen & Hibernian. back in December, when they looked a shoe in for 3rd.

One of the most arrogant and lacking-in-self-awareness interviews I’ve ever seen.

There’s absolutely no chance those fuds will get bored of being third. They’re more likely to get bored of being relegated, as that happens about as often as they get third.

Is Cormack the Clown any closer to replacing the absolute embarrassment of a stadium that they call home?

Finishing third is one thing, but third place finishes over the years where their competitors have made significant expenditure in stadium upgrades while they just settled for the hovel that they have isn’t really the kind of thing to be shouting from the rooftops about.

Id rather have consistent European football than a nice stadium. It's what counts on the park that matters more than anything else.

Starting to get tired of Aberdeen fans crawling out of the woodwork after their flukey little run and making out that they're some footballing superpower. Shame they weren't relegated when they finished bottom of the league in 2000. They might have still been there. Sheep ****ging *******s. Was it last season they shut part of Pittodrie to "improve the atmosphere" as they couldn't fill seats? And they have the cheek to call Hibs and Hearts tinpot?

The only thing that annoys me about these two bald men fighting over a comb is how few times we have finished third in the league when that should be an attainable target more seasons than not.
