Thought I’d start a thread for keeping an eye out on any infrastructure work being carried out this summer.

A pitch has been laid at East mains and one is in the process of being laid at ER. Not sure if it is a hybrid or not, anyone any idea?

I've heard potentially some electrical work at the stadium and training ground relating to lights.

Cold water is good for you.

Or season tickets up by £50 each to pay for the running costs!

Ok. We’ll settle for just the Northeast corner.

You will be wanting a bidet in the toilets as well.

Hotel/Casino/Function suites built in the North East corner gap please, with a "world-class restaurant" on the top floor called The Real Skyline Bar with ACTUAL views across the Edinburgh skyline and Arthurs Seat.

Just waiting for the first undercover Jambot to come on and tell us we are only doing these upgrades to try and compete with Tynecastle’s superior facilities

Can't believe they're shredding up the pitch like that - would have thought there would be some decent money to be had selling the turf to consumers or fans?

More trouble than its worth.

Disco lights for the European adventure? In all seriousness though I'm sure there was LED ribbons to be installed after the big screens. Wouldn't surprise me to see that around the lower and upper advertising boards.

No no no. We’d have to have restricted view seats, no view of the Edinburgh skyline in our hospitality suites, an escalator and a stairway to nowhere before our facilities are as good as theirs!

And shrink the pitch, and remove a couple of thousand seats, and change the remaining seats to an odd assortment of red-ish colours, and spend millions over budget, and only then would we be getting close to their facilities.

But will these be finished before our neighbours finish theirs ?

Can they not re-introduce behind the goals just for regular season ticket holders on a first come first serve basis. Always a handy option for a pint before the game.

It was losing money was it not?

Were they not going to do it up given the success of the Albion Bar?

I'm not surprised - although there were a lot of people in there it took an age to get served most weeks. My recollection was buy a round and get someone to rejoin the queue while you drank it 😩

Get it organised as efficiently as the hospitality is run & they'll make decent money. Get these fast pour taps & ordering via an app at your table & it would be great.

Stick in an area for a bottle bar too.

Thought the pitch held up much better this year than previous.

Wonder if it was the break during the World Cup?

Gave it a chance to recover going into January.

The pitch was pretty dreadful over the winter if I remember right but recovered really well and has looked very decent over the last couple of months

Never even considered that.
