Fought hard in both games and it paid off tonight. The idea this team doesn't care proven to be the garbage it was.

Hear hear. **** hot in the second half.
Tbf I thought to myself however this ends, it has been a really good game this second half.
We need to see more of it at home.

Delighted with the result and second half performance. 1st half was poor tonight, and like Sunday we just stood off them and let the opposition play.
There's a lesson for us there for us. Be more offensive against the OF, get in their faces and reap the rewards.

Surely a balance we tried to go toe to toe with Celtic at parkhead and got annihilated. Need to be defensively organised also but be able to change it and go for it like we did second half Wednesday.

People have short memories.
Wednesday wasn't too dissimilar to the Hun game in the first half. We were pegged back by a clearly superior team, created a few chances on the break and fell behind to an avoidable goal (well the penalty was avoidable). However, we did compete better in the second, before the sending off.
When playing against a team that are arguably better in every position on the field, it needs excellent tactics, discipline from the players and total commitment. That's what we got, all of that and some good fortune. Miller noised up that Maeida big time and the much more experienced pro cracked and cost his side three points.

Two thoughts
Celtic should have subbed the sub who looked overly aggressive for what was for them a nothing fixture with a Cup Final looming and Scott Bain looked as though he might have to come off after injuring himself but decided he was fit enough to carry on Not a big fan of Joe Hart but quite sure he might have stopped two of our goals
Delighted at the outcome and our second half performance
Need that for 90 minutes on Saturday
