My dad can’t make the game tonight as he isn’t well. My wife fancies coming along in his place but his season ticket is an over 65s ticket. I know you used to be able to upgrade a ticket and pay the difference. Does anyone know if you can still do that and if so is it possible to do on the day of a game? I have a feeling they stopped doing that because of the folk buying kids STs and only using them for big games.

I reckon if you are able to get along to the ticket office this afternoon they would be able to do something for you.

If you cant upgrade just scan and go through turnstile. Chances of anyone saying anything is minimal. Just make sure she scans it properly first time!!

I would just scan and go in, nothing will be said, have done it before when my brother in law couldn’t make it and my mate used his concession ST.

I upgraded a child ticket earlier this season. Just e mail your request to the ticket office and you'll get a call back and can do it over the phone.

Cheers. Just had Mel from the ticket office call me. All sorted. I didn’t want to chance it as for the first time in ages it looked like the steward was actually checking the light system when I went through at the The Rangers game.

I don't know if it is just in the FFL, but I was told they had stopped doing that as too many people were taking advantage of the cheap price.

Funny, I thought there would have been stewards in the FFL on Sunday doing that. Never saw one on th concourse until I went up to the stand

In some cases I don't take my son (10 years old) to the OF games and Derbies. He's made a few. Every other time iv given it to a mate and they've got in no issues even with the chaos on Sunday. You will be fine mate.

It was the FFU. I expect they look at the history of the card. It was pretty much a one off as my Granddaughter couldn't make the game and a family friend wanted to go. No questions asked by the TO, in fact they thanked me for upgrading.

Curiosity, how much did the upgrade cost?

£17 for last nights game.

It was a waste and I should have just risked it… the steward after the turnstiles in the FF Upper East side who was meant to be checking the lights was literally staring into space towards the opposite corner floor like a zombie.

They definitely wouldn’t have gathered anything from my dad’s season ticket history as it will have showed that he hasn’t attended at all this season nor anytime dating back to whenever the lift was reinstated in the FF Upper. He has a lift pass and they never (and I mean never) scan his season ticket.
