AZ Alkmaar "Ultras" (AKA "wee fannies in black hoodies") bite off more than they can chew with West Ham United (even some of the West Ham players got stuck in). Good luck in the final, hope you win it.

Video clip i saw showed one big west ham fan leathering a whole load of "ultras" who were trying to get up a flight of stairs. He was picking them off one at a time...superb.

Give me a couple of guys who are game any day of the week against a bunch of dicks like the "ultras". What an embarrassment to have dozens of you all looking like clones and getting smacked about by a couple of old boys!!

It was quite funny watching 2 guys with beer guts who looked not far off collecting their pension taking on and beating about 150 clones in balaclavas and black get up.

Tbf the old boy was a member of the West Ham ICF in the 80s so this wasn't his first rodeo.

It was marvellous to see. It was like 300.

“This is SPARTA!” (But with beer guts).

Those guys who stood up to those little pricks will be West Ham legends forever, especially as they were supposedly protecting the family section, including players’ families.

I know they are probably not angels themselves, but good on them.

He's now 58 and recovering from surgery!

God bless The Angel of Alkmaar! 😊⚒️😊

Man against boys!

Ha ha! Brilliant analogy - love it. Anyway I'm off to the gym to start getting myself in shape - who knows we might meet up with AZ in Europe next season and we'll need to be ready!!

A thread that shows how much people love football violence, little hint of moral high ground and they are a all over it.

Nah, you’re trying to be too clever, just good to see a big group of cowards, who probably terrified some kids in that section, get repelled by a few older gents who weren’t cowed by them.

Chill out mate - think you missed the point. The thread is a little bit of banter about mocking the absurdity of the perpetrators of football violence (AZ "Ultras" in this case) and praising the West Ham fans for defending themselves (successfully).

Can't be right. Ultras only fight other ultras and would never attack innocent fans. Boys being boys and all that fish.

Yeah, that's a load of nonsense and I've said that a number of times on here over the years.

Anybody with any knowledge of European 'Ultras' groups won't be in the least bit surprised at the behaviour of these d1cks.

I've never been in the military but from what I can see in a tactical sense he ticked all the boxes, occupied the high ground and met them at a choke point so it took away their advantage in numbers.

In the footage of them being herded back into their part of the stadium they were massed, and moved like, a pack of rats. About right.

Judging by the cut of him, going to the gym is the wrong approach. A diet of jellied eels is what you need, full of protein

It was the family section they went to attack, how pathetic a bunch of men in masks looking for fights with women.

Also haw William Wallace and the Scots beat a numerically greater English force at the Battle of Stirling Bridge.

You will not the battle in Braveheart did not contain a bridge. The bottleneck created allowed the Scots to triumph.
