Just thinking first of all wonder where the famous banner is from that day and with Sunday being the magical date can we get it out for the huns just a thought:flag:

Probably asking for a pasting, which usually follows us making statements or displays before a match.

If ever there was a time to get it back out it's this. They'll be heroes if they win their next 3.

A 3-2 win for Hibs would be my favoured statement to make on Sunday.

It would be a mistake to resurrect this ever - it was an iconic banner and phrase used for one our our biggest ever triumphs (and certainly our biggest in most of our living memories/almost impossible to be topped). Keep it back in 2016 and let's think up something new :applause:.

Instead of Time for Heroes how about taunting the Zombies with “Time for a Wash”

Agree. It's iconic and needs to stay forever related to that one particular triumph.

It's happened before and been commented on here before with general agreement that it could be asking for trouble, similar to teams/supporter's boasting or bragging being used to galvanise teams against them. I for one would not like the banners to re-appear and then listen to that lot enjoy a victory. I'm quietly confident that we can win the match but overconfidence can bite you on the erchie.

Aberdeen did it this weekend and their team didn't show up.

Dundee Utd had their league winning team from '83 out this weekend and their team didn't show up.

Definitely not worth doing it.
