Got to have had pyro if it was not allowed on health reasons.

Aye that was my original thought. Seems silly if it was that as will never get authorised

It was King Billy kissing James Connolly’s, who is holding the Scottish cup in one hand and a massive flare (made up of about 30 real flares lit up at the top to make it look like his flare is lit), shoes.
Probably.

I don’t think anyone would be asking permission to use pyros given they are supposedly banned from football stadiums.
I’m guessing it’s a mixture of sort of half assuming they would be igniting pyrotechnics as part of it and the negative publicity surrounding the swedge in Aberdeen at weekend.

Possibly more anti hun than pro Hibs. Maybe bad taste involving Ron Gordon’s name. Before anyone gets excited that’s pure guesswork. Guaranteed to have been incendiary whatever it was.

Almost definitely would’ve been anti hun, not that there’s anything wrong with that mind. Most normal people are.

Dont know why they dont allow flares to be held at the front like some clubs, some also allow selected fans to stand pitch side and hold them, rather than in the stands.

Which will promptly be ignored, the police response will be no response!

As Carheenlea says above, they are banned at football matches that is why the club doesn't allow them.
It will soon be a criminal offence.

Be interesting to find out what was proposed and rejected.
Question what is worth more one share in The Rangers or a toilet roll?

I’m very interested no doubt many other hibbys are as to the reasons for not having the tifo got to laugh if it’s down to being “offensive “ considering the many flags in the past that have been paraded with there offensive messages/material

If it was a genuine health and safety issue, fair.
If it's because it might upset the puddle drinking Hun *******s, shame on Hibs.

There's a statement from a Rangers fans group on Twitter moaning about the entry procedures at ER that also mentioned Hibs have 'rejected materials from both sets of fans' so it looks like Rangers have had a tifo or other display request turned down as well.

Good. Why on earth would we ever accommodate a display from Rangers. It’s bad enough letting them in the stadium never mind allowing them a show of support for their team.

The manky huns will probably still try and sneak it in whatever it is

If it was just a banner why even ask permission? .. I highly doubt the 'F*** the coronation, feed the poor' banner I totally agreed with was run past the club before appearing in the East.
I wonder if that caused enough squeaky bums at Hibs for them to let Block 7 know their stuff would be getting checked before being let into the stadium, hence them having to run the latest effort past the club first.
Probably still enough time to come up with something new before Sunday ...... do they know Douglas Ross is running the line?
My suggestion is .... 'How can a man have three jobs and be ***** at all of them' :greengrin

It will have been more than a banner.
If it was a tifo then they need access to the stadium before the game to set it up etc so will probably have to provide plans to Hibs.

I guess so HG ..... I must admit I'm rather curious as to what the nature of the 'offending' Tifo was :greengrin

Yeah, until we know, I've no idea if the club are in the right or not.
