What a difference both these two young players have made to our team. I thought CJ was outstanding today and regularly got the better of Duk and Fish was excellent , dominant in the air and is just a quality defender. It would be great if we could get them back for next season though I'm not sure we will tbh .

Agree totally both very solid. Egan Riley reads the game well very good at interceptions

They're both really impressing. I hope they want to continue with us for another year at least. Either way clubs down south can see we're good at developing talent unlike our neighbours across the city.

This isn’t a criticism it CJ as I think he’s class and as a fat ******* myself I’ve maybe got a cheek mentioning it but does anybody else think he looks a bit heavy? Sure there’s no a stitch of fat on him but there’s time I think he looks a bit chunky.

Could simply be built that way. David Murphy, Grant Holt etc all had difficulty keeping weight off.

Have a look at Carter vickers at Celtic. An absolute unit of a player. But he’s extremely fit. I’d rather a player is built like that than the gable end of a fiver.

Carter Vickers is certainly a unit . Aberdeen's Duk is also a strong player though I think CJ actually out muscled him on a few occasions today . Both Fish and CJ are strong and can handle the physical the side of the Scottish game . Think CJ has also found the position in the team that suits him best too . He was outstanding today and my MOTM.

The whole back four were excellent. Miovski and Duk did nothing.

Think Fish will be a English Championship player next season as part of his continued development for Man U.

I think we’ll sign fish and Kuharevych but CJ will go on loan to a championship team.

What it does show though, is as much criticism as our recruitment team/LJ has got them can sign good players.

All good on paper and show obvious quality at times but injuries have been an issue.

All came in with little information about them and been very good. Even Jeggo has improved us massively imo.

I agree tbh . I think Fish keeps it simple and is less of a risk taker than Porteous who use to bomb forward with the ball though in saying that Porteous on his A - game was good though I think we probably might be more solid at the back with Fish in fairness.

2 seasons on the trot with a defensive mid and Porto in defence we had the best goals against record outside the OF.

Bushiri has assets though. He might be able to play as a really defensive fullback like Akanji does for Man City as he's quite mobile.

Is that in indian rupees? I really like fish but he never got in the team until about february. He’s done well but 2 appearances at stockport in the national league then a good 4 months at hibs does not = £2-3 million.

It was in the evening news weeks ago that we were trying to keep him. I’d be more surprised if he’s not around next season.
