I find myself near Manchester next week and am definitely gonna catch the UCL semi with Man City, looking to sample the atmosphere, just wondering if anyone knows of any decent pubs close too the city centre that will show the game.

Plenty of pubs around Piccadilly will be showing it but you might find it even better to jump on a tram and go down to the ground and have a knock about City Square etc then watch the game in Mary D’s across the road. It’s a dump, but it’ll be bouncing that night.

Sawyer Arms in Deansgate is decent or the Piccadilly Tavern.

Stick to bottled beer though
You'd probably get a ticket if went near the ground.

Seriously? That would be pretty amazing. I'm down for a training course with a colleague who (although a Hearts fan) is a big football tourist. Might hawk around before the game and see if there's any tickets kicking about 👍🏻

Sawyers is a Utd bar
I would say Waldorf opposite Abode hotel in Piccadilly
Failing that try Stockport

Ah the Sawyers, in Guildford. Know it well, great bar.

I reckon they'd be a good chance. I have been to a few city games and plenty who don't turn up for a sell out.
Nice stadium as long as not in 3rd tier.
