Positive's from our game

I thought that 1st half we were excellent and played some really good stuff and should have been further ahead. They came back into it in the 2nd half and put us under pressure though I felt we showed good spirit and character to get the job done and it was a good result against a team that's not the easiest to play against imo .

agree - overall an enjoyable day out and we were very good for two thirds of the game. We really should have put them to the sword however and the last ten minutes we almost threw it. That’s a concern as it happens too often- dominate games to no avail. At least yesterday we came through. Big test at Aberdeen.

First half we were excellent and we definitely should have been 3-0 or 4-0 up . Thought the way we were playing in the first half it was always going to be hard to maintain it for 90 minutes and they would eventually have a spell in the game which they did though felt we showed character and resilience which was good to see also.

There was a lot for us fans to be positive of in yesterday's game with players like Jeggo , Cadden and Stevenson's putting a good shift in for the team and MOTM performance's from Newell, Fish , Nisbet and Youan. Aberdeen will undoubtedly be a very hard game though we can go there in a confident mood after a good result 👍

Positives for me, the support, immense. Youan is getting better, were playing some great fitba. Nisbets game has broadened a bit hes all over the pitch getting stuck in:thumbsup: 4 games to go and there's still something to fight for considering the season we have had is great.

I wasnt at the game either, had to work and no access to Hibs tv on internet so had my brother watsapp me on the mobile and watched on his tv, bugger was, I forgot to stick off goal alerts which arrived before actually seeing the goal, delay in live tv :greengrin

Went awol after they scored, mixing misplaced passes with hoofball: very, very bad.
2nd half atmosphere faulty morgue like from us: bad

One thing I noticed yesterday was our physicality and speed. I thought we won most of the 50/50s, and indeed 40/60s.

I was confident whenever there was a physocal battle or foot race, I don't recall feeling that way with past hibs teams. Typifying this was Nisbet in H1 where he made up 5+ yards and then out musculed a much larger CH before a good touch and doing very well to find himself space... then rushed a tame finish down the keepers throat, but you can't have it all. :greengrin

The high press, Youan and Nisbet, did this very well in the first half.

First half there was only ever one team in it, we created a good few chances and we put a couple away.

The whole team put in a decent effort and we managed to hold out even if it was a bit nervy most of the second half.

A bit more composed play on the counter and we probably win 3-1.
