Not a game on film ,but this classic comedy sketch from Rikki Fulton and pals still makes me laugh to this day.

Serious side, though.
A relative of mine was a promising player in his schooldays and was watched by a number of scouts.
This was 1970s.
At an Edinburgh Youth Cup Final he was playing a blinder,a scout on the touchline asked the coaching staff about him.
"Who is the number nine? Whats his name ?
When told "his name is O'Rourke", the scout said "oh ,ok" and walked away .
(see!.. they walked away then as well!):greengrin

How refreshing this club does sign Catholics now:greengrin
Someone needs to tell the Zombie hordes though !!

Can remember a neighbour in our street was a decent goalie in the 70s as a kid. Scout found out which school he went to never spoke to him again. Wonder which team he was scout for.

Mikey Stewart kicking fresh air in the tunnel at Hamilton beats them all. Not a football video but still my favourite.

Brian Glover often played the halfwit, like his role in Porridge.Very good actor.
He was a clever man, varied work career, including school teacher.
I had the honour of meeting him at the Assembly Rooms,George Street, Festival time 1970s
Funnily enough,he was in an old episode of Minder this afternoon.
His wig kept falling off !
