So nearly 2000 left and assume we haven’t sold any in the away end Would expect those left to go in next three days but you would think st Mirren would get more tickets this week to sell

I hope not, regardless of how many we sell I would not give them any more. This is our home game, the less away fans the better especially as they are nippy little ****s

So how do we think we will line up for this one?

Tried to get a team line discussion in the tickets thread so didn't want to start a thread.

Give St.Midden more tickets, simple, fill the stadium. If our fans are slow on the uptake, tough.

They will go by the weekend with a few hundred of us in the South stand as well. I would guess a crowd of just under 18k

Was going to go to this one but forgot I had tickets for Peter Kay in Glasgow that night so that’s scuppered that , but if we are only shifting just over a hundred tickets a day it’s hard to see us having anyone in the away stand
The days of getting a couple of thousand walk up s on the day are gone I think We will do well to sell out our three stands

Garymcl

Only counted the East and was 430 left vast majority single seats the two ends at back of stand the usual seats together hopefully we will sell the three stands out by kick off

When we played St Mirren on the last day of the promotion season, they brought a huge support (think they needed a point to stay up). Expecting them to have 2000+ there on Saturday.

Some fans must have a blind spot with this game and not really grasping the importance of the fixture for our European ambitions?

Yeah, thought the 3 home stands would of been pretty much sold out by now.

To be honest, I think it’s a reasonable crowd and probably a bit of a reflection as to where many people still are with this team. With 1200 left, the 3 home stands won’t have many left for sale by kick off tomorrow.

It’s obviously a critical game if we want to get something out of this season. Had we been in with a right shout of third and guaranteed group stage football there would have been more of a buzz about it.

They are🤷🏻, our stands hold about 16400, we have sold over 15000. More tickets will go today and there will be walk ups tomorrow. The total crowd will still be close to 18000 at the game

By that I meant only 200/300 left in 3 stands. I thought we might have been at the point where a section of the away stand has been opened.

Ticket issue, There use to be three options when you got the email with the digital ticket, Apple, Google, or download as attachment (which I used.) to get the qr code.
Now the third option has disappeared I'm snookered.
Anybody know what I'm doing wrong.

16,334 in today.

I'm disappointed with that to be honest, I get it's massive compared to what we would've got if we lost the derby and didn't make the top six, I also think it probably tells you where we are with this team and manager at the moment but I just feel we have a great chance of getting European football, a good chance of finishing above Hearts and an outside chance of finishing in that holy grail third spot, today was absolutely massive, I'm not sure if fans who didn't attend don't quite grasp that or the club haven't done enough to make it as an attractive a sell as possible.

Our average is great, no denying it but its greatly boosted by the derbies and glasgow duo, outwith those games our average against the rest is 16,496, so today's attendance was actually lower than our average for games outwith our big 3 rivals, you'd hope at the business end of the season, Saturday at 3pm and for what's at stake, we could've been looking at closer to 18k today.

We absolutely should've given St Mirren more tickets too, I get not wanting the stadiums taken over by Celtic and the huns but giving other clubs in our league who are capable of carrying a big away crowd, as many tickets as they need at no expense to our own fans is a no brainer, if Hibs players are intimidated by one end full of away fans instead of being inspired by three stands full of Hibees then we'd have more pressing issues.

Some good points, I was a bit disappointed in the turnout.... however St Mirren didn't sell out the allocation they were given. Still a decent turn out from them at 12000 odd.

Sure it was an important game but 16000 against St Mirren is excellent. I can remember games when we were luck to get half that. The place was busy and it seems to me crowds are on the up.

See a few comments about folk being disappointed with the attendance.

Think a bit realism is needed. It was undoubtedly an important game today but it’s been a poor season and we’re not a great side that folk are desperate to watch. Today was a good result in front of a decent crowd that puts us in a decent position. There was never any prospect of a sell out today though.

I think the realism is that 16.5k for a home game against St Mirren is a very healthy crowd indeed and suggests that this is a team that a lot of people want to watch.

Not sure of the exact stats but outside of the OF we are right up there as one of the best supported teams in Scotland.

Attendances here have rocketed at ER in the last 8 years or so, our average in 2014/15 was less than 9k.

I remember when I suggested after the cup final that we might get 15k v Dunfermline in 2016/17 a prolific poster from an English seaside town mocked me and told me that was a ridiculous notion with no chance, yet we did it a few months later and have continued to do it against smaller teams on a regular basis. Our attendances are brilliant and we should remember that

I disagree in so much that there wasn’t 16.5k in the ground today. It was the ‘attendance’ but there was a lot of empty seats.

Away crowds have been superb, seems to be a bit of a trend across the league. Still thought today was a decent crowd for where we are and how we’ve been.

Feel like the support is the one thing that can't be criticised at the moment - I remember derbies not so long ago with smaller attendances than we are getting every other week now. A combination of the 2016 legacy and Ron's work around the stadium appears to be delivering a sustained uptick in support. It certainly can't be the team over the last couple of years 😂

Attendances have been excellent considering the team has been rank for much of the season.

I also think hearts have fantastic support in proportion to the crap they watched under Neilson.

You're forgetting that folk knew we had the extra bank holiday and didn't know we'd have a home game this weekend. Lots of folk would have been away for sure accounting for a lot of empty seats?

Support overall has been great, would be interested to know how our season ticket sales are going and then again if/ after we qualify for Europe ..

Considering some of the rank rotten games we have played this year 16,334 is a great turnout, a bank holiday tae.
