Has anyone done an Italian game recently? I was thinking about Juve-Milan at the end of May but seems tricky to just buy tickets on the Juve site, you need to buy a €100+ ‘membership’ first seemingly. I’m not really bothered about the team, a nice city to visit would be a bonus (but it’s Italy we’re talking about, everywhere is worth seeing). Lots of cheap flights at the moment. Big stadium and atmosphere key.
Any recommendations?

I went to Torino v Verona (featuring Josh Doig) a couple of months ago. I managed to get the tickets fairly easily via their website. I think I did need to register and put in passport details but fine other than that. Great atmosphere.
My favourite ground is the Luigi Ferraris in Genoa and you can go to either Sampdoria or Genoa match. I always bought tickets in person from their ticket shops in the centre (Sampdoria Point or Porto Antico Genoa store) Be easy to get tickets too

Thanks, I fancy Genoa to look around as well. The Ligurian Coast looks incredible but I hear it gets heaving in the summer.

Went to chievo Verona Vs Genoa a couple seasons back. Bought the tickets on the day at the stadium, needed your passport. Really enjoyed the whole experience. Verona is a beautiful city as well which gets overlooked by some.

Same scenario for me when buying at the San Siro, got them on the day and used id (they accepted pretty much anything as well that day, I used a membership to 'the egg' club night at the Wee Red Bar 😂)

Yeah Genoa is a great wee city. A bit like edinburgh in that you can walk around it easily. The city itself is not usually overrun by tourists even in summer, but as you say along the coast (Cinque Terre etc) is a different story - albeit very beautiful

I done Bologna v inter Milan, superb old stadium, easy to get tickets and a beer in your seat. Ideal highly recommend and a beautiful medieval city.

I went to Lazio v Fiorentina years ago. Was over for the rugby and went to the footie after.
Had to go to the Lazio fan shop and give them our passport details. Then had to take ID to the ground.
Things may have carnage’s thought as this was about 10 years ago.
