You couldnt make this **** up 🤣 I thought with Burley in charge they were onto a good thing, but…

Former Hearts flop Nerijus Barasa has revealed the club's disgraced ex-owner Vladimir Romanov ordered a Lithuanian clairvoyant woman to pick the team for six matches - and it resulted in defeats against the Old Firm and in an Edinburgh derby.

The defender joined the Jambos on loan from Romanov's club in his homeland, Kaunas, but his 16 months at the club were a disaster and he eventually retired through injury at the age of 29. Romanov, 75, is still wanted by Lithuanian authorities for allegations of fraud, embezzlement and money laundering and was wanted by Interpol, but took refuge in Russia and is now a citizen of the country living in his own personal K-19 nuclear submarine

This was all over the newspapers back in 2005/06. The clairvoyant was claiming to be in touch with a famous dead Russian. Can't remember his name. But this was right around the time when Graham Rix was appointed manager. This caused a storm because he was a sex offender.

Rix or the famous dead Russian

The famous dead Russian was the person the clairvoyant was claiming to be in touch with.

Just remembered. It was "Rasputin" that she was claiming to be in touch with.

Did he not also insist on some sort of faith healer to “treat” injured players?

Anyone remember the magic box? The players had to put their hand on it and it would tell coaches whether they were fully commited to the cause or shirking.

They should have signed him. He could shift!
Instead, they sang a song about him!
