Nobody bought a ticket because it was a 12:30 KO, and we got horsed in an entirely predictable and pathetic defeat. I’m just glad I don’t feel any connection with the club anymore as it makes it far easier.

At approx. 2:30pm or so on Saturday a mass rendition of Sunshine on Leith could be heard across a sunny Leith.

I thought it might be match related. Perhaps it was just a spontaneous singalong to welcome the arrival of spring?

I was gripped by fear and could not read anything about the game beforehand. My youngest son did not go because he knows his behaviour is off the scale if we loose to them.

Sat next to another lone father whose children could not take it. He was an intelligent individual but like me, Hibs daft and hated Hearts. We had a great afternoon. I loved singing SOL. On the way to meet my son for dinner that evening, passed by the end of Rose Street. Jambos singing ER is hell outside a pub. I Shouted " Hearts are falling apart again" and hid behind some tourists. The Jambos all looked round confused. Capped off a great day.
