I'm definitely a glass half full type who tends to look optimistically at things...
But i'm needing a bit of help today to see anything other than disappointment.
Seeing a poor Aberdeen still managing to grind out maximum points, Livingstons winnable last two before split & being reminded we have not beaten them in 9 (yes NINE).... has not helped
So what can you offer me to put my optimism back on track :aok:

Hearts are just as keek as us just now.
They've got Naismith as boss.

I don’t reckon they’ve got much “resilience” right now.
We get the first goal, what happens next might be very interesting.

You’re right. It’s a hard task to have any optimism when it comes to this Hibs side and manager.
But we’ll win today. 3-1 Hibs 💚

Win our next two games and we will probably only be 4 points off 3rd going into the split.
Then get 7-9 points from our non old firm games and we'd have a pretty strong chance of 3rd.

First goal is utterly massive we have gifted them cheap early goals in the recent derbies. We need to get it and then dynamic totally changes. Their goalie is poor imo no doubt since I say that he will play the game of his life however think he is a weakness and need to test him early.

It’s less a case of needing to be at our very best today, rather, just not be as bad as the opposition.
I think we’ve a decent chance at these stakes!

Everything is good today, had a dream last night, we were 1 up at half time, and 10 minutes into the 2nd half scored another. The only slight reservation I have on us winning 2-0 is my son scored the 2nd goal.

Judging by his media interviews, Naismith’s team talk will be:
“Dinnae play badly, play well.”
Surely we will be better prepared than that?

His team talk will be to kick us off the field at every opportunity and they will do just that if we let them.

I'm a glass half full type too, theonlywayisup afterall. However, I'm struggling to see anything but the Hibees giving us another disappointment.

The clue is maybe in his username. Just "daft" expecting this Hibs team to win four/five games against the better non-Old Firm team.
Sorry, I realise I'm not helping on the optimism point of view. :greengrin

Knowing Beaton will also. Certainly have to match them physically and aggressively also with quality

I’m the same, tend to look for the positives for all things Hibs but I’m really struggling to see anything other than a defeat today.
We need to win it for the management team to stay, top 6, European place and then convincing transfer targets for next season to join.

Whenever I hear a team losing x amount of games in a row and then play us I always think they’ll win 🤣
Teams seem to loving ending a losing run against us or players that haven’t scored in x amount of games

It’s one thing doing it in a dream, but can he do it on a wet Tuesday night in December in Dingwall?
Another dud I suspect.
