Looks in fantastic condition. Let's just hope it suits us more than them.

He's posted about the pitch and the ongoing works a few times. Seems a nice guy and good to see the pitch looking well. Hard work paying off.

He’s done a great job.

LJ mentioned there’d been some additional investment in the pitch in one of his interviews, is that likely to be using the heat lamps that were previously deemed too costly?

I think we’ve had heat lamps for a wee while now, might be wrong.

I think LJ was alluding to a new hybrid pitch that was going down in the summer, £1mil investment. Was supposed to be happening anyway, not 100% sure if it still is.

I wonder why we’d be spending £1m on a pitch upgrade? Our pitch is probably one of the best in the league. Seems a hefty outlay when we should be improving the squad.

Our pitch looks really nice in September, starts to cut up in October, is bad in November, awful in December, almost unplayable in January and February, and starts to perk up again in March and April.

Its nowhere near one of the best in the division, there is hardly any grass on the side nearest the West.

We seem to resow it regularly (was done last summer) and the same issues happen again.

We need a new solution.

It's usually one of the worst in the league, think Hibs have even said there is a problem with air flow which affects the grass?

It looks a lot better, but still a couple of significantly damaged areas around the goal to the south.

Like the guys says, a Scottish winter is hard to contend with, so I'm not blaming anyone here at all.

Actually like how hes documenting his work

All the crap we have been putting on it has its advantages after all

Hearts Twitter showing the corner of the pitch and no grass at all.

Obviously trying to points score making ER look crap. Seems quite common with what they do at social media.

Think we have one of the poorest pitches in the league

I’ve never thought the pitch looked that bad during the winter. From my seat in West Upper it’s always looked in reasonable winter shape during the traditional challenging months for grounds staff.
