I was sure Doidge’s contract still had another year on it. Glad some of the younger guys are out getting experience but all that list does is show that we have kicked the can further down the road with some of them and there is a lot of work to do in the summer again to clear them out one way or another.

I like Melkerson, I wouldn’t be surprised to see him outlast our manager which results in him having a future here. I’d rather have him than Hoppe to be honest.

You forgot Hoppe.
Centre backs contracted for next season are Hanlon, Bushiri and McClelland.
Devlin needs to get up to speed fast if he is to have any chance of winning a new contract.
Could see Fish back for another half season live mentoring from Hanlon if we qualify for Europe.
Sunday showed he isn't ready yet to fly solo.

Lacovitti at Ross County if they want a meat and tatties defender
Ash Taylor at Kilmarnock is the best in the league for winning aerial duels and he scores goals. However, he is still error prone as he was at Aberdeen.
Perhaps we will crash the cash and go for Steven Welsh from Cellik.

Doidge has been improving recently
Tait at 21 is a used sub for Arbroath most weeks since returning from a bad injury
McKay at 21 was doing well but has been finding himself on the Inverness bench recently. Another one who has had an injury.
Kenneh 20 is doing well with Loturi, together they have stiffened up the Ross County midfield
Melkerson at 20 isn't getting game time at Sparta Rotterdam

You can add Tavares (Aged 22) and even McKirdy to this group that decisions will need to be made about.
I hope the coaches look at them all afresh in pre-season.
Hopefully some of them will have matured sufficiently to make their mark next season.

Last time I looked he is hardly getting any game time But I think he was better than what we have seen from Mckirdy to date
But it was a mystery why he didn’t kick on after such a good debut v well in the cup with two very well taken goals

Yes can't see much of a future for Tait and Mckay all though both still young at 21 and I had high hopes for Mckay who seems to of dropped off a bit after a bight start on his return to ICT on loan.

It really undermines how much dross we've signed over the past couple of years (the 2 summers in particular), have paid decent cash for and have very little chance of getting a return on either on the park or from selling to another club.

That's the biggest problem I think we have is the amount of players that are either not good enough or don't fit into a manager plans be that LJ or a new one . The only way it's going to happen is by giving who's ever in charge time and transfer windows to try and clear out what's not needed which won't imo be a easy task to do so as there probably on decent money and ARE on lengthy contracts . All a bit of a mess really and must be a managers worst nightmare.
