Scotland v host Nation Canada in the final tonight, Scotland were so lucky to finally beat the Italians early this morning in an extra end, i actually felt for the Italian skip as he produced a brilliant last stone to try get a three in the 10th end but was literally 5mm away from the win, Scotland having the hammer in the extra end and winning 9-8
Switzerland clobbered the Italians earlier today 11-3 to win Bronze
Canada Hammered Holders Sweden 9-1 yesterday, indeed they beat them twice this week
Scotland beat Canada in the round robin game on friday 6-3 but they will really need to up their game tonight to repeat that
as for the women last month, Scotland finished 12th out of 13, no surprised really i watched them last year and they were dreadful at that level
be many years before Scotland are at the top level again at curling in the womens game
