I realise that it's a long shot, but I wonder if anyone can help me with the name of a band.

They were on the scene around the same time as The Automatic (What's that coming over the hill...Monster) and I used to confuse the two of them.

They didn't last long, probably had 1 hit, but I saw them in the Liquid Room around 2005/6 and they were good.

The lead singer climbed up to the balcony during the gig and I think he and the female in the band were an item. I've a feeling that they split up which put an end to the band.

I just can't remember their name.

They're still around for what it's worth - no idea what they're like these days but they released their latest album just last year I recall.

I don't know what made me think they'd broken up. I was probably confusing them with The Automatic again.

Subways are still about, but changes the drummer.

First 2 albums had some decent tunes tbf.

The lead singer and the bassist were a couple, they split up a while ago. Also the drummer has changed, so could be either of those 2 things.

The Subways are still going strong, Josh Morgan the drummer left due to family reasons but they're still gigging.
