Anderson got out before the ship started sinking though. And anyway, his £25m donations so far are just that - donations and not any type of loan.
Budge is small fry compared to Anderson. She's only got £3m loan left sitting in HMFC.
None of this should affect Hearts (I would imagine). More's the pity. We'll just have to laugh at them spending c£45m of donations and winning nothing.

Hasn't Anderson got tens of millions in personal wealth? Hundreds of millions even?

Anderson in an interview last week said it had been difficult the last 12 months. He then clarified he wasn’t skint though

Genuinely wouldn’t surprise me if he’s got a restraining order on you.

Both happening on the same day would be grand.

Hmm…
I’m afraid you’ve got form for this, and I’m not going to take this latest prediction any more seriously.

Word definition: 'Obsessive' (from encyclopedia britannica (https://www.britannica.com/dictionary/obsessive))
'thinking about something or someone too much or in a way that is not normal : having an obsession'.

Don't think there is need for the pile on of the OP. You can think it's nonsense and move on, the thread would be at the bottom of the page by now

Totally agree. And let's be honest, we'd all be chuffed if Anderson's donations stopped.

Sunny day? I make do with getting hit with a broken bottle by a west Scotland football fan just to forget I can't afford toast.

Have you got a link to this? Seems really low for them as a firm despite the drop in assets under management in 2022. When I say low, I mean extraordinarily low!
We’ve also just appointed one of their partners as our Vice Chair.
Regarding the SMT, they’ve just replaced the Chair as part of their longer term strategy. The fund suffered badly in the last year due to increasing inflation and interest rates, but is still one of the top performing investment trusts out there over whatever time period you choose.

A broken bottle? Pfft.
We had to go scenes of car accidents and gather up broken windae glass and stick it together with bits of discarded chewing gum.

£27 million in profit is a decent wedge. Their turnover would obviously be far in excess of that.
