I've renewed today after being told I had to by a friend otherwise seat would be released to general sale.
But I've had no email or posted mail from Hibs about this at all. I wasn't even aware until today.
No worries from me as all sorted now but thought very unusual for Hibs not to be communicating directly to ST holders.
Maybe just me?

I received at least 2 emails, 14/03 and 17/03 reminding about the seat release deadline. Have you opted out of receiving marketing communications via email?

Apparently it’s 31/3 even though the early bird renewal deadline is not until 14th April
Does anyone know if it’s been confirmed that seats will become available to new buyers from 1st April?

I queried it when the announcement was made and they confirmed the dates. I then asked them why the seat release was 2 weeks before the early bird but I haven't had a response.

I’ve already renewed so it doesn’t affect me but I think it’s a crazy idea and I think long serving ST holders will be caught out. There’s more chance it will have a negative rather than positive effect on ST renewals in my opinion.

Yeah it seems like an unnecessary threat almost, to be honest.
Wouldn’t surprise me if they change the timeline next week again.

Almost guaranteed there will be an “extension”.
Likewise have renewed but was with the confusion over seat release and early bird I just got it done and dusted.
With the cost of living crisis a good number of us will be spinning plates a bit and folk who have every intention of renewing but waiting till a window that suits, it would be a real shame if someone “lost” their regular seats. There’s a real chance that those people would maybe decide just to not renew.
I’m sure the club will ramp up reminders next week, and you’d like to think that special cases would be accommodated for those who maybe need another week or two to enable them to continue to commit.

Yes, I have opted out. But would have thought and expected that my ST renewal would be outside of "marketing communications". A bit like an annual subscription. Very strange.

Don't really see the point in the early bird this year?
From memory, for existing ST holders, the idea of the Early Bird was to get folk to pay their cash into the club early. Now, the seat release date does that instead.
As anyone wanting to keep their existing seat has to renew 2 weeks before it anyways, it's effectively just giving us all a £20 discount.
I suppose it gives potential ST buyers a a wee incentive to buy now but I think the bigger incentive for buying early is to have more choice of the remaining seats instead of saving £20.
I renewed today, but in the past I've left it until the last date possible to secure my seat.

Agreed, the early bird scheme is now pretty pointless given the seat release date. Pretty sure a few will lose their seats amid the confusion of the dates.

Is it not just to give those renewing the chance to move seats before general sale and still get the early bird price?
Maybe I'm reading it wrong but it doesn't sound that outrageous to me.

Maybe I'm reading it wrong but it doesn't sound that outrageous to me.You could still buy early bird and move seat the day after early bird. It’s just a way to get the money earlier than the final early bird date. Not really happy with it considering we helped during covid ( didn’t take any refund that was in offer) and the prices have been hiked but as a fan you feel your being taken for a ride.

The reasoning is apparently to make season tickets more attractive to new season ticket holders by giving them a choice of the released seats at the early bird price.

No, I don't feel taken for a ride. Business rates for everything are going through the roof and we're trying to put a better team on the park.
If Hibs had frozen prices given how their costs will have gone up that would have been completely negligent.

Could it be this? Took effect last year.
Debit and credit card users must ensure their bank or lender has their up-to-date contact details as new rules take force today that see card providers forced to check if it's really you making transactions. If your card firm can't reach you, your payment could be declined. Here's what you need to know.
From today, payment providers must comply with new fraud-prevention rules, known as 'Strong Customer Authentication (SCA)', which require both debit and credit card providers to ask customers to verify certain payments.
As a result, you may get a text or phone call from your card firm when you make an online transaction requiring you to confirm you are who you say you are - so don't just ignore this or wrongly assume it's a scam. The new rules officially take force today, though many providers have been gradually rolling out the new verification processes since last summer.
The idea behind the move is to create a new layer of security to protect shoppers and their money. See 30+ Ways to Stop Scams for more on scams to look out for, how to protect yourself and what to do if you're a victim.
Card-by-card provider info on how to update your details
Make sure your card provider has ALL your correct contact info. That includes your mobile number, landline number and email address, if you have all of those. See the table below for how to check and update this information with your bank or lender.

Yes...they are having a few problems with card payment. I got logged out of my account and even though they've reset it I still can't get access. Had to buy my ST on the phone when Lynn phoned me back. They'll reply to your email soon. The problem still hasn't been fixed and they're taking it up with Ticketmaster.

Maybe but the debit card has been used numerous times this season for other tickets (away and home for friends etc) so don’t see why it should be rejected now. My bank also operates a verification check through their app but it doesn’t look like it’s getting that far.
Also went through bank verification checks when entering the credit card, different bank from debit card btw.
Still no response to email so may have to pop up to TO tomorrow.

Don't know if the same but deffo had issues. Went through the process up to the confirm on your banks app bit .... went into my on line account and confirmed payment, the ticket site then asked me to re enter my debit card details again for some unknown reason which seemed strange so I logged off. After 3 goes with the same thing happening I chose the 'send me a code by text' option and it worked fine.
Renewed ... but as seems to happen every season not without the ticket site trying really hard to put me off

Don't know if it's the same issue I had but when entering the sort code you need to enter the dashes or it won't accept payment details.
Hopefully the fans rep is feeding these sort of issues back - I don't know if KP has left post yet can't see anything RE fan's rep online - but feels like there is less of a presence.

It’s £355 for the adult accessible season ticket. If you are renewing an accessible season ticket you need to contact the ticket office to get them to change things on your online ticket account, they may need proof of disability payments

I eventually decided to pay it in full, but it seems to stick on the season ticket/events information screen, that's 3 times i've tried it now.

Not renewed yet - just had a phone call from the ticket office to ask if I was having any issues. Boy sounded like he was having a hard day.
I'm assuming he's having to phone everyone who hasn't renewed yet and is getting a blasting. I just told him the truth - I'll do it in a wee bit!!

Cheers mate, emailed them a couple of hours ago so we'll see. Phoning them is a bit of a nightmare, you pick option 2, it rings out for approx 30 seconds then you get a recorded message then you're cut off.

Surely we can stop issuing new cards to renewers? No exactly green, is it? (Not your fault, I know! :-) )

I've had a **** load of stuff on and just never managed to get round to it. Tried this morning to find it's locked till Monday. That makes no sense as surely its just an automated system when buying on-line? Hopefully still able to get our seats again for next year

I just opened this thread and got a call from the TO about moving my seat, extremely odd timing!
I asked how many sold, she said they were nearing 10K.
Decent effort

I've renewed for 4 of us around a month ago.
We've decided to move from the FF upper to the east stand and although the seats we chose are pretty good, they're pretty high up, about 3 rows from the top.
I'm hoping we can maybe move down a few rows and I had intended nipping along to the ticket office on Monday to see what other seats are available.
You say you just had a call from the TO though.
Did you email the TO recently saying you wanted to move seats and they gave you options during the call, if so I might use email to save the journey on Monday.

I just want to use this thread to highlight what a great bunch of people we have working in our ticket office.
I emailed the ticket office on Saturday to ask about what options I'd have to move our group of 4 seats in the Eaststand.
Due to it being the Easter Weekend I assumed I wouldn't get any reply until Tuesday at earliest.
However, I received a reply later on Saturday afternoon from Lynn giving me a few different seat options for our group to move into.
I replied to Lynn's email confirming our groups choice of seats, then unbelievably I was emailed late last night by Aidan to say our seats had been moved as requested.
Thanks to Lynn and Aidan for some outstanding service, especially during a holiday weekend.

I’ve had season tickets for 4 or 5 places in the East and tbh I reckon that close to the back is an absolutely brilliant place to watch football from.

They're going quickly.
I eventually decided against renewing because I can't justify paying for a season ticket when I'll only make half the games. It's much cheaper for me to be a walk up 8-10 times a season.
I checked last night out of curiosity and my current seat had already been taken on the same day it became available.

2 of my group didn't renew due to ill health. My intention was to switch to their seats but too late they are also gone.

Anyone received Digital copies of their season ticket this year? I usually have it saved in my iPhone wallet but don’t seem to have received one this year.
Have my card for tonight thankfully but there has been many occasions I’ve needed the digital one

I think they've all been sent out, I got an email a couple of weeks ago. Check your junk folder incase it slipped in there.
PS just checked got mine on 30/06/23 so it's been over a month, a quick email to the ticket office will probably get it re-sent if its not in your junk/spam folder

Quick question, if you buy a season ticket after the season has started, is the price reduced to take account of home games already played? Just had a look and it's still showing the full price.

If they still intend to do half season tickets then you’d expect that to be advertised before the end of the year. Imagine the club could tell you now if it’s happening though.

Not many given the club haven't told us in some triumphant manner.

Dundee’s ST’s did seem excessively high when they unveiled their 24/25 prices - the subject was discussed a while back on the forum and in comparison with others the Hibs ST is what I feel more than decent value.
With everything else shooting up in cost in recent years we’ve been able to retain the ST’s at a very reasonable price .
