Gordon Smith owned The Right Wing on Willowbrae Road and Wilie Ormond had his pub in Musselburgh for many years. Not sure if Bobby Johnstone went into the licensed trade.

Think he stayed down south after playing for Man City. May be wrong in that but the excellent documentary BBC Scotland did think his daughter was from that area. Well worth a watch not sure if still on iplayer.
