Assuming we're in the top 6, we'll play Rangers & Hearts away, Celtic, Livi/St Mirren, & Aberdeen at home.

Am I right?

Why wouldn't we play them away?

We'll have 3 home games to play, they'll have 2.

Could be massive if we play them at ER again

We'll have 3 home games to play, they'll have 2.Or as the lowest placed team last year we'll not get 19 home games due to :other priorities; var; an administrative error; just because we had 20 home games one season.

We finished above Aberdeen last season.

Easy 3 points if we get them at home again. Fingers crossed.

Technically we are due 3 at home and 2 away when we get top 6. Based on who we’ve played home and away pre split, should be due this to have a 19/19 balance
Celtic Home
Rangers away
Hearts away
Aberdeen away
Livvi/St Mirren home

That would mean us have 18 at home and 20 away. I haven’t looked at how this affects the other teams
As someone has said above, as we finished above Dons last season, would the last fixture be reversed

Confused.com You list these fixtures for a 19/19 even H/A split but then say it gives us 18/20 H/A.

Depends if the league prioritises clubs getting an equal 19/19 home/away set of fixtures over anything else?

But an uneven number of home/away games has happened before, as has playing the same team at home 3 times, so who knows? Hibs and Aberdeen both finishing bottom 6 last season will likely have created this scenario as the SPFL bases their fixtures on the same sides making top 6 as the previous season (I think?)

No what I’m saying is it should be 19/19 for all clubs, but someone, maybe Hibs could be 18/20

We finished above Aberdeen last season. So we did - old age not coming by itself.... Then the never been related clause will kick in. .

Not that it particularly matters but I wonder when the last time that actually happened was. Surely the top 6 changes most years.

The splits a farce. Always has been and always will.

As an aside has any decision been made for games due on Saturday 6th May, which is The Kings Coronation day?

Don’t think anything has been said about that.

Also guessing we won’t have a game the weekend on 29/30 April as that’s semi final weekend so we could be looking at a few midweek games after the split.

If the top 6 remains as it is now with the uglies, Hearts, Aberdeen, us & Livi then the post split fixtures will be contentious.

As it stands just now - Celtic will be due 2 home games post-split but they are due to play, Rangers, Hearts, Aberdeen, Hibs & Livingston all away from home.
Rangers will be due 3 home games post-split but are due to play the other 5 teams in the top 6 at home.

We all know they are the only 2 teams guaranteed to play an even split of home and away games in a season and have a guaranteed 2 home games against each other.
This would mean Rangers are guaranteed to play Celtic at Ibrox. This would mean 2 of the other top 6 teams would have to go to Parkhead for a 3rd time this season and 2 would get Rangers coming to their ground for a 3rd time.

So while we might get Aberdeen at home. We are probably going to parkhead for a 3rd time.
