It's getting beyond a joke how naive we are in some of these bigger games. Look at the Rangers first goal last night, Cadden gives the ball away in an awful position but then he has the chance to bring Sakala down. Just bring the man down and take a yellow card FFS. Very similar thing happened for Maeda's goal at Easter Road earlier this season.

We seem to pull out of challenges rather than show proper aggression in our pressing. If we take a few yellow cards so be it, the point is that your disrupt the opposition and allow us to reset our shape. It also lets the opposition know they won't have it all their own way. And then you don't lose goals like the 4th where we make Rangers look like prime Barcelona.

Only Lewis and maybe Egan-Riley actually competed properly. It must come from the coach, so it's something he needs to change along with his general approach to playing Rangers and Celtic.

Totally agree- Cadden loses ball , pulls out of a tactical yellow and we lose a goal immediately. Game management is non existent, that’s why they targeted him all night. He made Sakala look a world beater.

Its the opposite to this as well - goodness knows how many times Campbell had the ball last night with huns nibbling at his legs while he stands up against 3 of them and tries to keep (and loses) possession - he must be able to feel that. Go down - make the ref make a decision.

Couldn't agree more.
Besides, might not even get booked - look at that Canterbury (spelling) of The Rangers last night, deliberate hand ball on our through ball and through the back of Lewis among his 6 or 7 fouls,.... no I know..

Was more annoyed at Cadden for not just taking the foul and yellow card than giving the ball away before that. He knew it was what he needed to do because he went to do it but then pulled out.

They might have went on and won anyway but letting them back in so quickly just totally knocked us.

To be fair, he had no help/cover that side all night either.

Levein had it mastered when he was Hearts boss and it's continued ever since. Rotate the tacklers bringing down an opponent in their own half, get 11 men behind the ball for the free kick and reset.

Absolutely this, look at their players, as soon as they felt contact in an area where they couldn't find an out ball they went to ground and got a foul every single time.

Totally agreed and it annoyed me at the time. Game could have went a totally different way if we had managed to keep the lead for longer than about a minute. Definitely miss some aggression with this current hibs team

I think that's one of the privileges that are only extended to sevco players.

Forget about fouling, we should learn how to tackle. Is this something that can be taught? If so we should be putting on a remedial course for the majority of our team. I lost count of the number of times we were one on one with an opponent and lost the ball. Henderson was the prime culprit, but others like Campbell also struggled.

Well, obviously it’s not meant to be taken literally. It refers to any practitioners of bedlam attitudes.

Yes think there is. The new guys jeggo cj and fish. Lewis would likely have been sent off on Wednesday Josh Campbell and Kuka can be.
