Just for fun, no prizes, when do you think Sevco will get their first penalty on Wednesday?

I will go for 43 minutes.

Robertson has been given a ridiculous number of hun fixtures, 40, way more than any other top division side :dunno:

Listening to the Sportsound guys during their game yesterday, they were astounded that a stonewall Kilmarnock penalty was not given and not even VARed. Highly suspicious to say the least.

Always find that last 5 or so minutes in the first half is the old firms favourite time for scoring if it’s nil nil or they’re getting beat.

For that reason I’ll say the 43rd minute.

If it’s 0-0 after 30 minutes and Hibs are competing well then some time just before half time

Not saying it will be their first penalty but if its a draw or Hibs are winning they will get one in the last ten minutes.

Or time will be added on until Rangers score.

Their first one will be in the 16th minute, their last one will be in the 90th minute.

They will not allow Hibs to scupper the Huns title chase. Hibs are in decent from with reasonable confidence and at home. My guess is it will be a tight game with one key official decision being the difference. Enter the Hun pen after 62 minutes to ease the nerves.

what about the other two?

They’ll follow Hibs equalising goals, so one before half time, and another around 70 mins ;-)

90+11 with the score 1-1. A great tackle by our defender 2 yards outside the box to win the ball fair and square. The VAR equipment loses power just at that moment when someone trips over the cable and pulls it from the wall.

Yep, Derek Ferguson said he couldn’t believe one wasn’t given first half, and then there was this absolute stonewaller start of the second half, which the bbc DID show footage of. 13:14in. Absolutely hunbelievable nondecision from Collum. And no VAR check.

At the 1st opportunity.

During the interviews beforehand I expect Beale to bring up the Lundstram red card from last time at ER to try and get in the refs head and get big decisions going their way. That's the sort of thing Gerrard would do.

18 minutes, after VAR insist it was already overdue. No tackles or any other contact with an opposing player will be required.

I think that's what the VAR handbook says.

What will it take to get a penalty against Rangers, you don't get one for handball, blatant push,Jersey pulling, tackles which clearly no attempt to play the ball.🤔

My maternal grandfather, Jimmy Devlin use to tell this story way long before i was born.

Scene:

rAngers hordes exiting ibrox after 0-0 game against Hibernian

Shout down to crowd from a man leaning out tenement window

"what was the score!?"

Hun in bunnet looks up and shouts ....Nil Nil !

Man at window shouts back

"Who missed rangers penalty ?!!

No change there,then ? :greengrin

Second question - which one out of Egan Riley, Fish, or Jeggo gets sent off?

16,000 penalties to Rangers, 6 months later following a long VAR check on all of the assaults on their players from over exuberance on the pitch.

It depends really ,if it’s a draw into the last 5minutes,you can guarantee the ref will give it.

Got a really good feeling for Wednesday night, penalties or no penalties.

Saying that, I’m more worried about a tame red card being shown to the likes of Jeggo or Egan-Riley.

The only chance of Hibs getting a penalty would be if one of our players was decapitated following a late/high challenge which the referee would reluctantly feel obliged to have to award.

No, only after VAR had asked the ref to review said incident and establishing that unfortunately no Hibs player was offside on the runup to the assault and therefore free kick to Rangers.

I wonder if there's a team in Europe that has got more penalties than the Huns this season?

In the league they've got a penalties difference of +10. 10 awarded for and none against.

I read somewhere that they had a run of 44 games without a penalty awarded against them. Then Aberdeen got one. Then another 44 game run. That’s 89 football matches with a single penalty conceded. Can’t be right, surely? And if it is right, it can’t be right surely?

Then compare those numbers with their penalties for and against in Europe

They've still not had one awarded against them this season (the only team to be able to say that) so that's at least 28 games.

Fwiw, I was amazed it took Var to give the penalty last night. Looked a stonewaller to me.
