Does anyone know is it’s locked in for Saturday or whether it could be moved for TV? Unsure how late in the day they do these things.

TV games haven't been decided for that weekend yet. Sky can only show 1 more game at ER. Given we are looking more likely top 6 and with a home game v Celtc due after the split I'd be surprised if the Derby is picked for TV tbh.

Is it not 6 games a year at each stadium? Which gives room for 2 against each of the OF and hearts.

The current deal only allows for 4 home games to be shown on sky per season. It'll increase to 5 but not until the season after next.

Thanks.

Maybe waiting to see how the table pans out over the next couple of games as our game vs Celtic may be a dead rubber in terms of the title. Surely a derby battle for 3rd is more appealing.

Kilmarnock still have 2 games to be shown on Sky and play Celtc that weekend so that game will likely be chosen. Not sure when Sky will decide but must be soon as its not that far away.

I wonder how many games they have left to show at tynie and if the last derby will be shown? The last 2 derbies at tynie haven’t been on tv

How come up until recently all our home games against Rangers, Celtic and Hearts were always on the tele but now the limits don’t allow it?

What has changed and when did that happen?

Ross County-Aberdeen instead of an Edinburgh derby 😂

The old TV deal had 20 more games and we could have 6 home games shown which covered all of those. Now it’s only 4. The clubs, including our own are the only ones to blame as that’s what they agreed to.

Looks like sky are banking on us getting top 6 and getting the Celtic game on live as we only have one more game left to be on tv this season at home.

I'd prefer it that way. Can Hibs not sell the game through HibsTV like the huns game? Extra revenue for the club.

Nit if it's 3pm on a Saturday I don't think.

Ahh forgot about that, in which case I completely change my mind and think it's daft, thought we could have made a few quid.

Our game against them last April was 3pm on a Saturday whilst shown on Hearts TV.

Different rules this season.

I wonder if the two teams will try and agree to a later kick off time in that case. 3pm on a Saturday is ideal for myself and I’m sure many others. Laughable that Sky have failed to show 2 Edinburgh Derbies this season though.

Isn’t that pathetic? A team who feature 25/30 times a season or a blood and thunder Edinburgh derby, and there’s seemingly a choice to make.

Good. They've had the advantage of non-televised derbies at Tynecastle to take advantage of PPV, our turn now.

Won't be on PPV if it's 3pm on the Saturday so we won't take advantage of it.

Maybe we should move it to 6pm to allow ppv. Would make it a lively atmosphere :greengrin

Its a numbers game. The reality is Hibs v Celtic will likely have far more viewers than Hibs v Hearts, especially if Celtic can win the league that day.

Either we have a 3pm home derby which is superb, or Hibs can earn some extra cash by requesting the fixture to be moved for PPV.

For reference Sky have picked their games for that weekend https://spfl.co.uk/league/premiership/fixtures

Ross County v Dons on Friday night
Killie v Celtic on the Sunday

So an old school 3pm Saturday KO

Hibs may want to change kick off for PPV although would have thought would have announced it by now so should be OK.

Catching the train and due in just after 11 so should be ok even if they do make it a lunchtime ko.

Had a feeling they would change it. 2000 ppv at 15 quid is 30k at no extra cost to the club.

You have done well getting into Edinburgh for 11am.

East and West Coast trains been a nightmare this season everytime I have tried to book says replacement bus services or strikes.

Been an absolute nightmare getting to games from England. Driving not great for me either but do it when have to.

I looked at the train for this game, you get off at Carlisle i think and it's the bus from there, and the same back.

We decided to take the car instead, now with the change of time we are not bothering.

I think it's to do with upgrading work at Carstairs Junction, going to be a nightmare for sometime.
