Nice to see Youan getting in the stats , big player for us now . Boyle for a winger has excellent stats , really missed him this year.

Youan seems to hit the target a lot, but I feel like he hits it straight at the keeper a lot. Either side and he could be on double figure goals and 6/7 assists. Goes to show the massive potential in him.

Youan seems to hit the target a lot, but I feel like he hits it straight at the keeper a lot. Either side and he could be on double figure goals and 6/7 assists. Goes to show the massive potential in him.
I don't think he's a out in out striker though he does seem to hit the target a lot and his finishing I think could be improved . 4 goals and 6 assist I think he has . Personally I like him out wide , think he's a excellent player with as you say massive potential to get even better.

It's easy to fire a shot down the throat of the goalkeeper, but it can require real skill to find ways of getting it beyond them depending on the shooting angles or how close the goalkeeper is when the shot is taken.

I would say goals to shots on target ratio. A true quality striker will almost always find ways of getting the ball into the net when the opportunity presents itself. They'll know instinctively whether to go left, right, through the legs or over the keeper and the amount (or lack of) power required to ensure that it goes in. A surprisingly rare gift.

To get the best out of Boyle we need another player like Youan who can also use pace and skill to beat a man. Otherwise the plan just becomes give it to Boyle and hope he can rustle up some magic.

A front line of Youan, Boyle, and a decent number nine next season could be lethal. (I think Nisbet will be off down south)
